Pretty designs, but disappointing quality and presentation I'm genuinely disappointed with my order, particularly as this ring was purchased as a gift for a close friend. The designs are lovely, which is what attracted me to Regalrose in the first place, but unfortunately the rings that arrived don't quite live up to the website photographs. They're recognisably the same designs, but the images make them look far more delicate, refined and premium than they actually are. The metalwork around the stones isn't nearly as clean or finely finished as it appears online. The settings look bulkier, the detailing less precise, and the overall appearance is considerably cheaper than I expected. I also purchased a gold ring, and the colour of that is noticeably yellower than the softer gold shown online. I appreciate that professional photography and lighting can make a difference, but I do feel the images create an expectation of a much higher-quality finish than what actually arrives. What made the experience even more disappointing was the packaging. I spent almost £90 on these rings, and they arrived in cheap little plastic bags. No jewellery box, no real presentation, nothing that makes the purchase feel remotely special. I've genuinely received jewellery costing 99p from SHEIN and Temu in almost identical packaging. And that's what has frustrated me the most. I put a lot of thought into choosing this ring for my friend. I spent time researching different brands, comparing reviews, looking at designs and choosing something with a meaning behind it. I was happy to spend the money because I wanted to give her something beautiful and special. Instead, I'm now looking at it wondering how I'm supposed to present it without it looking like something I've picked up for a couple of pounds from SHEIN. It's not about wanting someone to know how much I've spent. It's about wanting the quality and presentation of a gift to reflect the thought and effort that went into choosing it. At the moment, I honestly feel quite embarrassed to give it to her in the condition and packaging it arrived in. I've recently purchased jewellery from another brand in a similar price range, beginning with A, and the difference in both the quality and the overall experience is considerable. I'm not expecting luxury jewellery for £42, but I do expect something that resembles the quality and finish shown in the photographs, and at least some consideration for presentation when selling jewellery at this price point. The rings are pretty, and I do genuinely like the designs, which is why I'm giving three stars rather than fewer. But the reality has been incredibly underwhelming. Would I order again? Unfortunately not. I feel I've paid for something that looks much more premium online than it does in person, and the complete lack of presentation has really diminished what should have been a lovely gifting experience. Such a shame, because I really wanted to love these rings.
