I have been learning BSL at Remark! since 2023.
It has been one of the best thing I have done.
The staff are really professional and kind. The tutors make sure you learn and understand the signs properly.
They also give all the students an amazing support.
I love Remark!
I am looking forward to starting Level 3 course.

Tutor and the supporting girl were very good; learned some knowledge about being deaf and how to communicate with them. Free Taster session was fun and influencing. I will definitely improve the finger spelling until I find a free time to follow the course. Thanks to the Tutor and supporting girl.

From booking right up to the day, the Remark service was efficient and caring. I was nervous about having just the right interpreter for our daughter's wedding - the groom's grandma is very fussy about her BSL! Remark delivered. Andy was a delight at the rehearsal, service and reception. He didn't just translate the formal stuff - I saw him chatting to the groom's grandma throughout. He is beaming in every photo he was captured in and made the day extra special for us all.

From booking interpreters, right up to delivery Remark have been amazing. They are so efficient, responsive and a lovely friendly team to work with. The 2 BSL interpreters supplied to work with me on a programme were amazing. Our client wrote to thank them after the event. I can't thank Remark enough!

This BSL Taster Class was brilliant. John, the teacher, was so lovely. He made the class informative so we learned a bit but he also made it quite funny in places which kept our interest going. Personally I find a boring teacher makes me switch off. Definitely NOT the case today. I would highly recommend trying this class as your first stop then follow with a proper course if your interest is piqued. I am!! A big thank you to John and his lovely interpreter.

Laura and Maria were fantastic. Our staff really enjoyed and learned a lot from the Deaf Awareness Session with Intro to BSL. They made the session very interactive and made sure everyone felt included. I would recommend this training to any organisation that wants to make their workplace more deaf friendly.

Excellent teacher who provided so much support and encouragement whilst doing the course. Hoping to do Level 2 with them as well!

It was great learning the basics of British Sign Language at Remark! through the level 1 course.

The team at Remark is lovely and the welcome is warm. Our tutor, Laura, was positive and engaging and very patient with us all! There was plenty of opportunity to practice with the other class members and we learned a lot from each other too. The course prepared us very well for the exams. Thank you Remark and I look forward to starting Level 2.

I've just completed Level 1 and the whole experience from start to finish was brilliant! Our teacher Laura was fantastic, taking the time to clearly explain things in a fun and interesting way. As a class (and team at work) we loved it so much we're about to embark on Level 2! Highly recommend Remark and their friendly, professional staff.

The course was brilliant and Laura, our teacher was fantastic - we took the course as a team of work colleagues and not only has it been really effective and we have learnt a great deal but it has also been a great bonding experience. BSL is such a wonderful language.

I was completely immersed in Remark!'s Level 2 course and loved every moment of it. Our teachers were so professional, brilliant and great fun. I cannot recommend learning BSL at Remark! highly enough, it is a great community and so welcoming. I cannot wait for my Level 3 course to begin!

Great tutors and a warm, friendly environment.

I really enjoyed doing my BSL level 1 with John. It was such a fun experience that I recommend to everyone. All the staff at Remark were so friendly and welcoming.

I really enjoyed every aspect of my Level 1 course with John Archbold. He was a great tutor with a super sense of humour and lots of patience. I was also lucky to be part of a great bunch of students.

I couldn't recommend Remark more highly for learning BSL. Our teacher Laura was brilliant, and every lesson on our Stage 1 course was fun (apart from the exams maybe...).

My husband and I both took the BSL Level 1 course, and we were thoroughly impressed: at how thought out the sessions were, how immersive and also how much content we got through in 3 hours. We had the best teacher (Yatz Gil), and can't thank her enough for making learning BSL such a pleasurable experience. We received all course notes after each session, that we could download, we were supported prior to each exam, and the whole team made sure that if we couldn't do any exam dates, they would be as flexible as possible. If you want to learn BSL in person, this is the best place to do it.
