Not very responsive with payroll concerns, already bumped my emails too many times about paycheck saying "in progress" for days but to no avail. Not recommended. Timelines are not realistic, no live support, processing is very slow
RemoFirst experience
We decided to partner with Remofirst for our EoR services, and the experience has been seamless since our initial interaction with Dario De Azevedo. His support has been great and is always available to respond. Additionally, Edgar has been exceptionally responsive and helpful throughout the process.
Onboarding was slow and Missed taxes
Onboarding was slow, no communication between the end EOR, which is not REMO. Lastly, and most importantly, they did not charge taxes correctly on a benefit. After the employee was terminated they came back to us for additional back taxes. The entire purposes of me using REMO was for tax compliance in a jurisdiction that I was unfamiliar with. They missed the mark

The customer service is really great. We operate in the US and Germany. Remofirst makes doing this so easy. Everyone is paid on time, no issues. Would highly recommend.

RemoFirst was Super Smooth
My employer from UK legally employed me in Finland via RemoFirst and it becomes my legal employer hence I have zero issue with Finnish Immigration System since all terms were accordance to Finnish Labour Laws. During onboarding I asked for couple of changes on the contract and there was full cooperation and the customer support chat was extremely fast and helpful. I find RemoFirst pretty much very helpful
I find RemoFirst pretty much straightforward, especially when it comes to the government documents they requested and the contracts. It's important here in the Philippines because of the government benefits. The contract aspect is clear, outlining what you’re getting into, the benefits, and policies. Once everything is set up, I'm good to go.
Professional Support and Timely Payments
I have been using RemoFirst as an employee hired through an Employer of Record for the past two months. My payments have been processed on time, and the onboarding procedure was efficient. Communication with the onboarding manager was prompt and clear, providing precise guidance on the next steps. The RemoFirst web application also offers a user‑friendly interface.
One area that could be improved is the availability of an initial point of contact for individuals interested in being employed through an EOR but who have questions regarding specific countries. In my case, I had to schedule a meeting as a prospective employer and clarify in the description that I was reaching out as a potential future employee. Only then was I redirected to the appropriate department.
They went silent and ignored my urgent requests

My payments have been delayed for over 4 weeks now because Remofirst failed to process the invoices correctly...not once, but twice. It’s incredibly frustrating because the errors were simple things like misspelling my name and bank details. As a business owner and interpreter myself, I know that getting these details right is the 'one job' a payroll service has. It's truly not rocket science!
If you rely on a regular income flow, you need to trust the middleman. Unfortunately, Remofirst has proven to be unreliable. They blamed my bank at first, but after doing my own research and consultation, it was clear the rejection happened because of their mistakes on the paperwork. It’s disappointing to work for a reliable company only to have the payment flow ruined by an unprofessional platform. It's also not my responsibility needing to chase them time after time without proper replies? (they went silent for days)

I like how easy RemoFirst is to navigate, which makes submitting personal documents and expenses a breeze. The dashboard is also fantastic as it gives me an overview of my income, provides easy access to manage expenses and submit time-off requests, and offers clear visibility of my status with quick access to necessary tools. The initial setup was very easy, which is always a plus.

I would strongly advise against using this company for payroll or employment services.
What should have been a straightforward onboarding and payment process turned into an opaque, poorly managed experience with shifting explanations, inconsistent communication, and no clear accountability. Despite repeated assurances, basic obligations were not handled as expected, and escalation simply recycled the same responses without resolution.
If you are relying on this provider for something as fundamental as timely pay, compliance, or operational certainty, be aware that internal processes appear fragmented and slow to respond when things go wrong. The lack of ownership and effective escalation is the most concerning part.
For any business or individual who values reliability, transparency, and risk management, I would recommend looking elsewhere.
