Terrible customer service with absolutely zero empathy or common sense.
Originally dealt with them in December after flood damage. Chose replacement flooring, paid the additional costs as we decided to upgrade the flooring and left it that we would be in touch when the flooring could be laid. They pestered us with so many calls to find out when they could place the order for the flooring until finally in April we had the go ahead for the flooring and called Renew to confirm. About 2 weeks later, after not hearing any updates, I called to see where things were only to be told the flooring we had chosen in December had been discontinued. Nobody at renew had called or emailed to tell us this and I wonder how long it would have taken somebody to do so… Anyway, we were told we had to choose another flooring, which we did that same day. I was then told that it would take 7-10 working days to process the order. On day 11 the order still hadn’t been placed. On day 16 the order still hadn’t been placed and this was because we need to pay an extra £250 for screeding. Our floors are already screeded. Dealt with a senior member of their customer service team today who did not demonstrate any sympathy, willingness to help or understanding of our property. They were only adamant that the additional charge would be applied or we would not have the flooring ordered, let alone fitted.

Always same old same old. Carpets ordered. Out of 3 choices available (apparently) down to 1 and that is out of stock. Chasing them well u have more chance of jumping through a brick wall 6 ft thick. Then eventually carpets arrived in stock and low and behold promise calls day after day and nothing. Today I sat on phone waiting eventually got an operator who said the relevant lady is busy and will call back before 1700 it hasn't happened. I haven't had a call as promised by the carpet fitters it seems they just deal with folksthey deem will make more money for them.

Every staff member an absolute delight to speak with. Polite, professional, friendly and nothing too much trouble. My dealings with Renew spanned some 9 months and the service never faltered. Outstanding! And a breath of fresh air! Couldn’t recommend them more highly.

Shocking lack of customer care and of personal belongings I am now facing a dispute with this company over one of there staff lying about not bringing in mud on my stairs called Shaun I have taken photos and I will take this to the ombudsman. Not at all professional to lie about a customer.
