not something I would use again

just had to update my review as I am still not a huge fan of this company or their service, eventually they refunded my money and someone saw the bright light to better deal with these situations when someone does not use or like your services.

for that I give 3 stars, rather than that I would not use it again.

This is a scam

This is a scam. Do not use. They change your password so you are locked out and cannot "easily" cancel your subscription after they automatically upgrade you to their premium service costing over $50 with no clear renewal dates. Password reset requests do not work - you will not receive an email- not even to your Spam folder. And they data mine your efforts to contact them to cancel your subscription. Thet are unregulated so you cannot lodge complaint with ombudsman. They are preying on people looking for somewhere to live. Disgraceful.

Not a user-friendly site

Not a user-friendly site to use...can't specify suburbs within a city to search, the advertised rents were often different once the site took you to it.
Sites that charge an automatic renewing fee after a cheaper trial period should be approached with caution.

Rentola is an absolute SCAM !

Rentola is an absolute SCAM !! I signed up desperate to find a home to rent. I paid for the 7-day period (Because I am an idiot and realised NO OTHER company would made tenants pay to see listings) and now I can't cancel. There is no contact number or email to contact them with. If you made this mistake ... Contact the bank and cancel your card. DO NOT FALL FOR THIS CRAP !

I canceled my subscription on the 22…

I canceled my subscription on the 22 March 2024 and I still got billed again today...Rentola does not have an identifiable route of communication via the web neither do they provide a telephone number for customer services.. this is absolutely frustrating especially after my subscription was legitimately submitted.
Rentola I need a refund seeing that I have formslly asked for my subscription to be canceled

good problem resolution by Rentola

I had gone one day over the 7 day trial period and the premium package had kicked in and debited my account on day 8. I had realized this then cancelled immediately. i then contacted Rentola and happy to find that they are willing to refund me the full amount. The team helped me to resolve this matter and i am very happy with the support as well as the way i which my query was handled. Thank you Rentola

Rip-off if not illegal

No replies for any of the properties I applied for. Useless!
I also got the idea somehow that the trial period was for 28 days, but they took £35 from my account after 7 days for a service that doesn't work.
Is it not illegal in the UK to charge people for getting access to rental accomodation?

Bad business practice!

I payed for their services thinking it was a dollar so I opted to pay that fee. I forgot to cancel my subscription because I only needed it for one day and in the end I didn't get what I wanted because the sites intuitive design is flawed. I forgot that I have left the subscription going (because they limit you from cancelling it for 24hrs) and a week later they trying to charge me $60? Bruh I agreed to $1 not that. Scummy business practice and I wouldn't recommend. I tried to get in contact with them about it, but they ignored it and kept sending me reminders to pay that $60. I've reached out through Facebook and email, still no answer but they can send emails to me about my "fee", get out of here.
