REP Provisions is a direct-to-consumer meat delivery company. We raise grass-fed and grass-finished beef, soy and corn free pork and lamb. We also provide no-soy pasture-raised chicken. All of our animals are free from antibiotic and mRna vaccines. Our farms are chemical free meaning we don't use fertilizers, herbicides or pesticides. Packing for shipping needs improvement
The meat tastes wonderful and is good quality however nearly all of my packages were leaking and had lost the air seal. Not only is that messy it means I can’t store it very long in the freezer. They should layer the meat with some paper or cardboard in between as this has happened with my previous delivery as well.

We’re so happy to hear you were pleased with the meat and so sorry about the issue with your packaging. Unfortunately, we do realize this happens from time to time and I’m very sorry about that. That’s why inside your box we place a paper called “Good Things to Know” with some very important information about your products when they arrive. We also have this stated on our website under our FAQ section. The issue you had is one of them listed. During the shipping process, our boxes can take quite a beating. The frozen meat moves around, especially as the dry ice starts to dissipate. The packaging can become very hard and brittle at times due to the extreme cold temperatures inside the box and with the extreme movement of the boxes, the packages rub against each other which can cause micro holes, tears or damage to occur. Please know that we do carefully examine each package before placing into a box and would never place a package that has any damage or a broken seal inside the box. This only happens during transit. It is still completely safe to eat and in no way will degrade the taste or quality of the meat and does not need to be discarded. This is why on the “Good Things to Know” paper, we state to make sure and place a plate underneath your meat when thawing. Again, I’m very sorry about that Amy. We don’t like it when this happens either but it’s extremely hard to ship frozen products with the amount of abuse the box goes through before it reaches the customer.

All meats are quality and delicious and just as importantly, the packaging is amazing. All shipments are packed tight in an insulated box with plenty of dry ice. Meats arrive frozen every time no matter how late in the day I get them

Great flavor, small proportions.
The NY Strips have outstanding flavor, however the cut is very small. Each steak I got weighed right around 9 ounces. Then once you cut off the large fat strip like I needed to for the meal tonight, the actual weight is less than 7 ounces. I will continue to have every now and then, but the value isn't there to have on a regular basis.

As noted on the paper we placed inside your box, as well as our website, we do ask to reach out to us with photos anytime there is an issue so that we can properly resolve a potential problem. We try our hardest for consistency but these are part of the challenges of raising animals regeneratively and not conventionally. Conventional beef will almost always fit into a perfect mold each time, same size, shape, consistency, but for us that is nearly impossible. Each beef we deliver is grass fed and finished from the day it’s born to when it is harvested and this sometimes creates inconsistent sizes in the primal cuts amongst animals and may occasionally affect appearance, weight and thickness of individual steak cuts. But we do encourage reaching out with photos so that we can get a better understanding of what you received. Again, I’m very sorry about that Brandon. I hope you know how grateful we are to you for your support for our small family farms and regenerative agriculture. It truly does mean the world to us! Thank you so much!🙏🏻🥰

I wanted to find a more organic way to raise beef, as well as support our US ranchers. I investigated regenerative farming and came across great reviews for Rep Provisions. The quality and taste of the beef is outstanding. My actual favorite tasting beef from my order is the 80/20 blend of ground beef. I’ve been recommending this to all of my clients who seem interested! I have my subscription and looking forward to my next shipment.
