Just returned from 7 night S.Caribbean cruise and used Resort for a Day in 5 out of 6 ports. Very easy to navigate their website to book the excursions, printed tickets from email confirmation, and each property we visited was amazing. Easy check in and just laid back relaxing days! In Barbados we did a Submarine tour it was the coolest excursion and booking thru Resort for a Day saved us $50 per person versus booking on the ship. No complaints all went as expected!

We have used Resortsforaday many times. We have had some awesome experiences, but our experience in Puerto Plata (Taino Bay) Dominican Republic at the Marien Resort was extra special. Food was included and it was by far, some of the best buffet food we’ve had! Their pool and beach were very nice. Taxi ride was $35 each way, but our same driver came back and picked us up and didn’t charge until he returned us to the port. Resort included towels, all drinks, and food, and was a true value.

I have used Resort for a Day for years when I cruise! I like the unique excursion offering to just escape the cruise crowd and go relax at a resort. Never had any problem when I booked with them. Even forgot my printed ticket when I went to Baha Bay in Nassau and had no trouble checking in. Easy to use website, tickets always quickly opened and emailed. Highly recommend

Beware! Not only are the prices higher on their website versus contacting the resort directly, they have a very rude customer service team. Additionally there is a rude woman by the name of Ashley that claims to be the ONLY SUPERVISOR with no one above her who is very rude, disrespectful, argumentative and provides false and misleading information. If you get this woman on the phone please escalate but do not accept anything she or her team tells you. Shame on World Travel Holdings for having created this scam side hustle business - Resort for a Day.

Additionally, when you book with them they only take a $12 to $25 deposit for the resort and ask you to pay the rest at the resort. You cannot pay a higher deposit or pay the entire cost upfront if you wanted to. This is on purpose as you can only apply your voucher from Crusies.com towards the deposit. Under this fraudulent business model, cruises.com will give you a $100 voucher towards the resort. However you can only apply $12 to $25 towards the deposit using the voucher. The rest of the voucher credit goes waste. Complete scam by World Travel Holding that owns both cruises.com and Resort For a Day.
