Well worth the money and time
We have been using this company for about a year. We started with scheduled tutoring for her (many) problematic classes. She has liked her tutors and found them to be helpful and supportive. Grades improved steadily. As her concussion has improved, she has converted over to using the less structured approach and is doing well with "on call" help when she gets stuck on her homework. She feels much less anxious because she knows knowledgeable and useful help is promptly available Overall, the experience has been well worth the money and time spent.

1:1 tutoring was a game changer!
Revolution Prep SAT prep has truly a game-changer for our high school senior! With their knowledgeable and customized 1:1 SAT prep. tutor, our son was able to increase his SAT score by almost 100 points! This positioned him in a much more competitive spot for early action college admissions and scholarships - of which he has recently received both! So grateful for the 1:1 option as flexibility was exactly what our son needed with his busy schedule. He is now doing 1:1 for AP courses and this has been very helpful as well.

We used revolution prep with the idea of preparing for the PSAT and were disappointed
We used revolution prep with the idea of preparing for the PSAT and it was completely disappointing. We went through a rotating cast of three tutors during the process and it seemed like revolution prep was struggling to keep tutors. Months in, the tutor still didn’t bother to understand our goal and was instead focused on test scores much later in the process. Even though we started six months in advance, we were disappointed to learn that our student had only taken one practice test. Working with revolution prep required us to be helicopter parents, micromanaging the process, negotiating replacement tutors, which is not what we paid for. In the end our student worked on the ACT test prep with them and yes, his score went up a few points. If I had it to do over again, I would go with a different company that is more up to managing the process with the student and understanding of the goals. Avoid.

Alison helps make dreams come true
Alison was my son’s tutor for PSAT/SAT prep, with the goal of National Merit Scholar, for 9 months in 2022. She was calm, kind and fantastic with the test-taking strategies, filling in any knowledge gaps and analyzing strengths and weaknesses. Great tutors for school subjects and test prep!!!!
I can't say enough great things about Revolution Prep. Both my daughters used them, both raised their SAT scores 200+ points, and both ultimately got into their first choice Early Decision college! Tutors are patient, knowledgeable, and highly skilled at teaching. Scheduling is easy and reliable. In addition to the test prep, my daughters also used Revolution's "on demand" homework help. My older daughter was having difficult with AP Calculus. Using just the homework help for calculus, she not only excelled in the class, but she also gained the confidence and skill to further her math studies and is now a mathematics major in college! I've been a teacher for 20+ years and these are some of the very best tutors I have seen.

I really can't say enough positive words about Becky and almost don't know where to start. From the beginning Becky had been extremely professional, perceptive and organized. She knows the material and, most importantly, knows how to instructionally meet kids where they are at. I can't imagine a better tutor for my junior. Our daughter is social smart and athletic and she really looks forward to and values every session with Becky. She's also learning a ton and her test scores are improving rapidly. Results beyond our expectations
Our son’s Revolution Prep advisor and tutor were professional, organized, and supportive. The process of picking the correct tutoring level and tutoring package were explained clearly and thoroughly by the advisor, allowing us to make the best decision for our family. The tutoring itself was focused and tailored to our son, and allowed him to not only improve his SAT score, but to take ownership of the process. In about three months, he improved his score beyond our expectations, from a 1310 to a 1550. Thank you Revolution Prep for taking the stress out of our son’s SAT prep!

We did not see any improvement after…
We did not see any improvement after taking this class even though our daughter did everything as she told. We got no feedback on why we and others in the class had no improvement. We will need to go with another company after wasting several weeks with this prep course.

Flexible and efficient
I appreciate the flexibility of hours with their tutors being that they are from around the county. I like that they teach on zoom as it eliminates drive time during such a busy time in the student’s lives. And you get to be in the comfort of your home!
