Ride To Insurance Is a MUST
Ride to get back to you in good time and provide the 2nd day insurance which I needed. (Likely as ADHD and working memory is not my strength) Just ensure you claim it straight away when you fail and don't be afraid to say the real reason. (In my case difficulty with manual controls due to my ADHD) You are then sent a promo code to reschedule. Highly reccomend Chelmsford the instructors are lovely people and very straight talking. I failed alongside 2 other people so well worth getting the insurance. Would like to give paticular praises to Henry as he was very helpful and quick to respond to my queries.

We had 2 hours on the bike after going…
We had 2 hours on the bike after going through all the paperwork ect. At midday we got told that was it, we didn’t have enough experience and told to leave the course, after we clearly stated we had minimal experience on a bike, but the company was happy taking are money, the trainer might aswell have told us to go home on the 1st hour he was very negative. Shocking experience.

We are really sorry that you were unable to complete the training. The CBT is a progressive course, and the instructor does need to see progress from riders to be able to allow them to move through each element.

Very disappointing experience and zero flexibility
I normally don’t leave negative reviews, but my experience with RideTo was extremely disappointing. I arrived 15 minutes late to my CBT due to unexpected traffic, and despite calling ahead at 07:35 — well before the start time — no one picked up the phone. I still made every effort to get there as quickly as I could, but when I arrived, I was told I wouldn’t be accepted and that there was nothing they could do.
What shocked me most was the complete lack of empathy or flexibility, even though I had clearly communicated and explained the situation. Losing £200 over an unavoidable delay is incredibly harsh, especially when you genuinely try to inform them. The staff simply repeated the rules and pushed the responsibility away instead of offering any realistic support or options.
I understand policies exist, but good customer service means looking at situations with basic fairness and humanity.
Unfortunately, RideTo showed none of that. I walked away feeling punished for something outside my control. Would not recommend based on my experience.

We are really sorry to hear that you were unable to make it to your scheduled course and were unable to train. We appreciate how disappointing situations like that can be.
As we have advised, the DVSA requires riders to be present for the entire duration of the CBT course syllabus, and instructors are not always able to restart the course or wait for late attendees.

Guys I am really disappointed even I paid for peace of mind which is cost me 44.99 pound which helps me to rebook my CBT but just bcz of instructor I can’t book literally he said book your CBT again and come back I didn’t expected this will happen I didn’t get gud experience don’t waste time it’s waste of money completely

As the team has explained, the Peace of Mind policy does not cover communication issues, or failure to meet any of the course requirements. As this was the reason for non-completion, we are unable to provide another booking under the policy.
We would recommend taking some time to ensure you meet the requirements of the course, before rebooking. When you feel ready, please reach out to the team, and we will help you to secure another booking.

The instructors is too strict and even not gonna give a second chance he just ask there expect to be perfect nor to train you .. they are taking that much money for training not for perfectly doing everything we are here to train by you man why you are expecting and rejecting us on that .. too much disappointment

As advised prior to training, knowledge of the Highway Code is a CBT course requirement. The instructor is not able to allow you to train safely without checking this.
