Buyer beware! This product only tracks up to 200 feet, which is stupid because how is that a lost animal? We took special care to return the tags - perfectly and according to the long list of steps.... Voir plus

Stops working and very poor quality.
Unfortunately, like many of the reviews here, this tracker was difficult to install. It doesn't live update you either, so that was a big disappointment when using this for tracking my dog in the forest. Also the qr codes on the back are so blurred its hard to scan them to register. And when they drop out and stop working there is no way to retrieve them other than try scanning that code. I did finally manage to angle it so perfectly it scanned, but then the device doesn't register on Find hub, so, really what's the point?
CS is of ZERO help. Buyer beware, find another tag that is better and worth the money....skip this one!

Roam tags are a scam

Bought two tags which worked for some weeks. Both stopped working. Customer service responded for a while instructing me to do various things and when this did not fix the problem and I asked for a refund they ghosted me. Finally they came back after me pushing them (all via email as there is no other way to contact them) and said I damaged the tag and there is no further assistance they can provide. Do not buy anything from this company. The product is very poor quality and does not work and the company does not offer any customer service. This is a commonly reported experience with the company. If I could give 0 stars I would.

I ordered a tag and a tag holder for $50 and a month later I am still waiting for my products. the customer support team doesn’t answer me. yet they pocketed my money. I should have checked the reviews. i got scammed. shame on them! yet they keep sending me emails about their “community manager and tips and tricks. awful company.

Don’t waste your time or money

Rubbish! Like most of the other reviews the tag I ordered beeped randomly from day 1. Stopped tracking after a week so I tried changing the battery. This worked for an hour or so then tracking stopped again. I opened the unit again to make sure the battery was in properly and the mechanism all fell out. Straight in the bin 🗑️

I ordered two tags for my puppy and my daughter dog and we felt like it was a good product until it started making weird noises so I reached out to them and was told to open the tag and reset it and all should be good So we did and the tag would no longer close reached out again and they said to make sure battery is in right and that there was no debris inside we did still won't
stay closed reached out again crickets on their part reached out again and now they say they don't replace damage tags but I can make a new purchase for 50 percent off . So They think I should spend more money on their faulty product Save your money do some research they are a terrible company with terrible customer service

AVOID Roamtag....do NOT waste your time or $$ on this product or company

Just like many of the other reviews of the Roam Tag....2 weeks to receive item (no problem with that).....but within first days/week the tag not working (either constantly beeping, not tracking, not showing up on iPhone that is 1m or 20m away, QR code not opening to show information).
Same 'playbook' response from "customer service" with suggestions of how to reset, then replace battery (shouldn't this be new/fresh). Then when put a new battery in, customer service said I must have damaged it (BS as did EXACTLY as they instructed). When asked for replacement, the same response as to many other reviewers about only valid for 30 days from order date, not delivery date....and offered the 'opportunity' to purchase a replacement with their 'generous' 40% discount.

Learn your lesson, and read/read/read reviews before considering Facebook purchases. Check their Facebook page (last post was Sept 2024)....seems company has gone under/surviving by scamming.

$$ and time lost by customers......$$$$$ gained by dodgy Roamtag company

Roam sold me a faulty tag

Roam sold me a faulty tag. It beeps without warning so is no good for my nervous dog. They are saying that because i ordered this over 30 days ago that i cannot get a refund. But this is such bad customer service because i contacted them within 30 days of me receiving the product - which was shipped to the UK, so took a while to reach me.

They wont even send me a working tag - as a replacement.

Avoid this company and their poor customer service.

Shady business practices

Roam Tags has horrible customer service and business ethics. I cancelled an order within 12 hours and they confirmed the cancellation, but charged my card. Two weeks later I receive notification of the order shipped. I immediately contacted them again and had to send them the e-mail conversation I had with them cancelling the order because they “had no record of it”. They sent me return labels which I immediately put on the unopened packages and sent back. They then only gave me a partial refund with no reasoning. This was THEIR error. I reached out two more times by email and suddenly stopped receiving responses. No one ever answers the phone.

Came in the mail immediately broke in…

Came in the mail immediately broke in two contacted service was told i would have to buy a new one but they would give me a discount. When i threatened to dispute credit card charges someone told me how to fix it. now a week later the battery is dead. not going to replace it because the thing beeps constantly

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THESE TAGS

The tag stopped working. I didn’t notice immediately but noticed in the app the my dog was “last seen” a month ago.
I tried the reset etc & contacted Roam to be told I was outside the 30 day guarantee period ( I ordered in Feb and it took over 3 weeks to arrive) and offered a 40% reduction on a new tag!
DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THESE TAGS

Con Artists Do Not Buy

If I could give it no stars or minus I would. This company is a con.

I did read reviews before I purchased but clearly they got themselves some good enough to get started and then have been selling defect items. They have refused a refund or a new product. So as promised I'm taking the matter further.

I had to wait for nearly 8 weeks for the two tags I ordered. I cannot make sense of the installation instructions and my phone doesn't seem to have the headings they tell me to use. I have emailed them several times and the last email from them said "you are not following instructions" which doesn't take me any further forward. Having read other reviews, I don't think there is any point in pursuing them. They refuse to discuss any return of the tags.Totally useless company.

I wish I’d read the reviews first. Don’t buy this product is low quality and false advertising. It’s brand new and keeps beeping around my dogs neck which is annoying him. The build quality is appalling and not what is in the photo, I intend to return mine for a refund - they should be shut down given the amount of bad reviews.

Dangerous product

Dangerous product - DO NOT BUY!

Bought as it claimed it had live tracking but all it appears to have is a qr code that enables you to leave information should your dog disappear and someone finds it.

Emailed company several times but failed to answer this query.

Put the tag on the dogs collar today and went upstairs for a short while. When I came back down I could see Dylan was playing with something in his bed, only to find the tag in several pieces as the chain is so long he was able to reach it when he was laid down. Although the battery had been bitten he luckily had not swallowed it or it would have killed him!

This product is not fit for purpose and they know it given their own instructions say “this product contains a lithium battery - caution should be exercised around animals”.

Have emailed them and await a response.

The tag started beeping and freaked out the dog. Reached out for help, told battery needed replacing, but it was only 1 month old and it was a pain to replace the battery. Did that, still random beeping have offered suggestions but they are not easy things to try and not an easy design . Asked for refund said 1 month warrantee was up….dont buy, piece of crap.

Avoid at all costs – total scam!

Ordered a dog tag from Roamtag and what arrived was an absolute joke. Cheap, flimsy, and nothing like what was advertised. The tag looks like it’ll snap off in a day – completely useless. Customer service? Non-existent. This company is a scam preying on pet owners. Save your money and go elsewhere – Roamtag should not be in business.
