Very frustrating experience..

Very frustrating experience... its a good product so i ordered again and also order for a different product but then chased after a month of not receiving both orders. One response to apologise and saying order would be chased up...waited and not heard anything after another few days so i have sent 4 emails without response so i cancelled subscription and asked for refunds for 2 orders. To my horror today i have been charged for a brand new order.... i am.so angry....
Edit... so i have now received notification that my 3 orders have been cancelled and they will be refunded in 3-5 days.... watch this space... i'm owed the best part of $150 .... no apology by the way...

It’s so disappointing because they offer high quality products. Buyer Beware ! I will look elsewhere for Superfood products.

We are Roots Nutrition (rootsnutrition.com). Founded by retired Fire Fighter and ND Dr. Romeo Brooks, we have been in business over 30 year. Rootz Nutrition began utilizing our trademarked name online some time in 2016. From then, we have received countless complaints from their customers who cannot cancel unwanted subscription and/or have not received their products. We have attempted to contact Rootz on countless occasion --much like their disgruntled customers--but to no avail. We are writing this in hopes that someone on their team will see this and respond, and, more importantly, so that customers will stop mistaking our reputable business for theirs.

Absolutely horrendous experience

Absolutely horrendous experience.
This is genuinely the worst company I’ve ever dealt with.

My order was never sent, and I had to chase them repeatedly. I received one vague reply claiming the item was “out of stock due to popularity,” and then nothing — complete silence. I eventually had to contact my credit card provider to get a refund and even froze my card to stop any further charges.

I tried cancelling my subscription through email and through their portal, but received no confirmation. Despite this, they continued emailing me about upcoming subscription payments. I finally managed to cancel only by following the link in one of their subscription emails.

When the order finally arrived after all of this, the product itself was disgusting. Another reviewer described it as “sand,” and that’s exactly what it’s like. I wouldn’t feed it to a stray animal. I’ve tried many collagen products over the years, and this is by far the worst — completely unusable.

Do not buy from this company. They should not be trading.

No response to cancellation request

Have contacted on multiple occasions to stop my subscription and havent heard anything. Did tell them in my message that the email I used on my first order is no longer accessible to me and that I needed contacted via my new email account to verify my subscription was cancelled and I have yet to hear anything and it’s been a few weeks.

I purchased ROOTZ COLLAGEN SUPERFOOD as…

I purchased ROOTZ COLLAGEN SUPERFOOD as I was seeking collagen to put in my shake to help with aging etc. I tried it and hated it. It taste terrible. I asked for a refund today, 12/20/25.
Customer Service was very nice but the product makes anything I put it in taste terrible.

Rip off merchant!! Stay away away!

I ordered from this company in August and I have never received my two containers of collagen. I chase them when I didnt receive it to be told that they had a product backlog and apologised for the delay but my order would be going out that day. I chased again in October because I still had not received anything to be told they were having product delays but would be holding a meeting that week regarding orders that needed to be filled and it would be going out. I still never received it and chased in November will no response. I then again sent an email this month to advise I want my money back and I have not received a response or a refund. Not at all pleased that this company is a thief, and taking people's money for nothing. Scam, stay away from them.

I ordered from this company and got one jar of the protein superfood. I got an email saying they were shipping me another one and I tried to contact them telling them I did not want it to please cancel. I kept sending them emails to cancel the subscription And I never got a response ever! So I received the second jar still writing them to cancel the subscription with no response the only way I stopped getting any more was I canceled the credit card on file with them. Then they had the nerve to send me emails telling me I needed to update my credit card in order to get more product! I didn’t want any more product! So needless to say I’m stuck with these two jars and it is the most disgusting product I’ve ever had. I will never use it and I will never order from this company again

False subscription

This is my second complaint because first time they never sent the product. So I made a complaint with BBB. They said they would send product and return money. The product finally came like a month later but they never returned money like they said they would. Then they turned around and made a false subscription and took money from my account again and this time it was twice as much. They do not have a phone # and they do not return emails. What does that tell you about this company. I don’t do subscriptions of products until I try and in this situation I wouldn’t buy anything from this awful company. Very sketchy. Oh and btw! I’m still waiting for the product from the money they took for a false subscription.

This is not a trustworthy company. I have an email that their “batch was bad” and I have an email they received my return but still did not give me a complete refund. Save yourself some frustrations and STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!

They took the money out of my bank…

They took the money out of my bank account and I never got the product. When I go into my receipt it says ordered. Not shipped , no tracking. I contacted them via email because that is the only way you can contact them. They responded and said they had a big sale and said next time they’ll make sure they have more product. Well;that’s false because, I keep getting all these ads for these huge sales that they ate still having and their best sale ever! Really? so they’re still having sales, but I still didn’t get my product. It’s been over a month. I contacted them several times via email with no response. None at all so this time I put a complaint in with the BBB we’ll see how that goes but literally they have my money. I have no product! Give me my money back!

Dishonest company - they never shipped the product, after saying they would, twice!

Do not order from the company who makes this product. I ordered from this company, at the suggestion of a newsfeed that I receive emails from, and never received my order. After waiting 3 weeks, I messaged customer service and they apologized, said they never saw my order, even though I had an order number from their company. They said they'd ship one out priority mail, and I should get it in 3-4 business days. Well, it never came, and I contacted them again, and never heard back. Thank heavens I paid with my credit card and was able to file a dispute and get my money back. I then messaged those who were advertising for this company and they said other followers said the same thing - they were scammed too, and never received the product they ordered. They said they would no longer advertise for that company because of it. So, again, do not trust ordering from the company "Rootz."

Apalling Customer Care Service - Possible Scam!

Apalling Customer Care Service! DONT BUY!!!
On the 14th August 25 I placed an order of 3x Collagen Superfood and paid $135,20 but the order has never arrived. I contacted the company on the two mails I have: help and info on many occasions trying to find out the status of my order. On the 28th August, Harrison Levy replied saying that: "I am so sorry. I see what you are saying- no updates on your tracking from your order placed a while back. Normally when this happens, it is because the item was scanned incorrectly by USPS, but is still en route to the location. I have reached out to our USPS rep to track down your order. However I don't want you to have to wait while we figure this out, so I will have a new one sent first thing when we reopen tomorrow via 2 day priority mail. I really appreciate your support, and apologize for this shipping mishap.
Going forward, you should expect orders to ship out in 1-2 business days. Best, Harrison"...

Well today its the 15th September, a whole month since I placed and paid for my order and it still hasn't arrived but to my surprise I got an email from someone called Rom who sent me the same reply I saw on multiple bad reviews saying that they fulfilment team had met over the weekend, bla, bla, bla, bla...
I have replied back asking for an immediate and full refund.
In the meantime I have also contacted Svelte to let them know what a bad image and how much this is damaging to their own credibility for recommending as affiliate a company that is a major let down.

Hopefully I will receive my refund soon!

Beware!

Looks like I’m caught up in this same scam that I am reading. Wish I had read reviews but I trusted the affiliation with Svelte. Ordered August 14, 2025, was charged immediately $295.20. My first response about delay was very nice and believable. No more responses, no product. Beware!
