I first brought my watch into the Canary Wharf branch in April 2025 as the hands were getting stuck. I was told that a mini-service would fix the issue, so I went ahead and paid for this. When I got my watch returned to me, it stopped working again shortly after so I returned to the branch and asked for the problem to be sorted. I had to chase the store a week later to get an update, to which I was told it was be ready within a week. I did not hear anything for another two and a half weeks, where I had to chase again. I finally got my watch back for the second time and within two days the watch stopped again, so I took it back in. Once again, I was told I would hear within a certain amount of time and I heard nothing. I was told it would be fixed by removing the second hand, so they did this and then told me it wasn't fixed and that I now had to pay for a full service.
Throughout all of this I was asked for a 'warranty' card for my first mini-service, which was never given to me. I was told the battery warranty is void as "the watchmaker has opened the watch and seems that the battery is not our brand", but I have not taken the watch anywhere else!
My last interaction with them was a mention that they would do a service as a gesture of goodwill, but this has never materialised and I have been ignored ever since. Via their Whatsapp chat I have asked to make a formal complaint as this has been going on for over a year now, and I have been ignored for another two weeks.
I have been mis-sold a service just for the watch to stop working again. Every step of the way I have been lied to about how long it will take and when someone will get in contact with me.
Avoid like the plague - I expected much better for a watch repair in Canary Wharf.
Sent a valuable Ellesse watch which cost £400 30 years age. Got estimates for. £295 + bat. Authorised repairs. Waited weeks to be told could not access parts.
Watch was working when I sent it came back with winder hanging out and totally inoperative.
Have brought to their attention.
Waiting response.
Response was they never did anything to it so how was the equivalent of a winder that altered the pointers was hanging out.
Beware. Treat them like a plague.
They are saying watch wasn’t working.
Only one explanation. They are liars. I would not have sent a broken watch for cosmetic repairs.

I visited Ross Watch Repairs in Canary Wharf today, and had a pleasant experience. I needed to have a couple of lincs taken off of my watch that I recently bought. A gentleman who dealt with me was very polite and helpful, and fixed my watch while I was waiting. He also informed me that if I experience any issues with the watch to come back to them. The customer service was excellent and I’m so glad I found this place!!

BEWARE AWFUL SERVICE– I sent my Lotus Hybrid watch to Ross Watch Repairs for a simple battery replacement and was offered an upgrade to a premium, Swiss-made battery. They claimed this battery would last 60% longer, came with a 12‑month guarantee, and persuaded me to add a mini service for £69.95 plus VAT. There was also a £10 postage and packaging charge, on top of my cost to send the watch to them. At the time, I was satisfied—after all, the premium battery had a 12‑month warranty, and the mini service was supposedly covered for 36 months.
However, just 10 months later, my app alerted me that the battery needed replacing. I contacted Ross Watch Repairs expecting straightforward help under the warranty. Instead, I was passed between staff members repeatedly asked for receipts and proof of guarantee—even though all the details were clearly available in our WhatsApp messages. They refused to cover return postage, citing their terms and conditions, and then suggested the watch itself might be faulty, despite having serviced it less than a year ago.
I ultimately took the watch to a local jeweller in Northern Ireland, who supplied, fitted and sealed a new battery for just £20. To my shock, the so‑called premium battery from Ross Watch Repairs turned out to be a Panasonic CR3032—made in Indonesia which is widely available on Amazon selling to the general public for around £9.29.
In my view, the premium upgrade was a total con, the battery upgrade was misleading and the warranty was not worth the paper it was written on. I would not recommend this company.

Absolutely shocking service. They quoted for a watch repair, gave a price and timeline of 4-6 weeks. After 5 weeks they informed me the watch was ready for collection, then said there was a slight delay. After 2 months I was told it would be ready soon. After 3 months they said they were now waiting for a part but it would be ready soon. After enquiring after 4 months they announced they would not be fixing the watch. Zero proactive communication and misinformation when they were asked. A watch repair service that doesn’t repair and wastes your time. Utterly unprofessional.
I sent my watches through the mail, the turnaround the very quick, and they did a wonderful job replacing batteries, kept me informed of the progress, I was very happy with the service.

Took my new Gucci watch in to have strap links removed after 2 other specialists (including a brand stockist) said the pins were jammed.
15 minutes later and RWR had easily completed the task. Cost incl. VAT less than quoted elsewhere too.

Great service, also they were able to fix a favourite watch that the original manufacturer said was unrepairable.
Prompt, courteous and effective service at a fair price. Battery renewal, reseal, and mini service within an hour of walking in without an appointment.
I trusted them with a watch that’s very special to me, and they went above and beyond. The communication throughout the process was great—they explained what needed to be done and kept me updated. The turnaround time was faster than I expected, and the craftsmanship of the repair was flawless. It’s rare to find this level of skill and genuine customer service these days.
NO good for Timex watch repairs. Extremely disappointing, I eventually received a refund.
They do not have spare parts for Timex watches. I initially thought a new battery and a service was needed. Later I discovered a problem (or the major problem) was related to the day and date shown on the watch’s calendar. It often stopped at about 01:30 in the morning.
Do NOT expect this company to be able to fix Timex watches.
Excellent customer service and a quick turnaround in getting my watch back firstly to remove my dial and then to put i back on. Would recommend
If you value your watch at all DO NOT USE Ross Watch Repairs.
I took my watch to be repaired initially as it had stopped working. When I went to pick it up, the guy working on it was on a video call on his phone at the same time as he was carrying out the repair. When he was finished I saw that there was a crumb of bread or pastry under the glass! He'd obviously also been eating whilst fixing my watch.
I pointed this out, and I was told that the issue could be rectified but not immediately as he needed to 'ultrasonically clean the case', which was clearly not not true. All that was required was some attention to detail and for the crystal to be cleaned.
On making a complaint, I was told that they would remove the crumb and I was to be offered a measly 20% refund. Against my better judgement, I agreed, but when the watch was returned there was still a grease spot on the glass where the crumb had been.
At this point I complained again, but having lost all faith in RWR, I decided against taking them up on the offer of cleaning the glass.
Lastly, as another reviewer has pointed out, their guarantee of work supplied with repairs is not worth the paper it's written on. These guys are cowboys. Avoid if you value your watch.
I was at London Bridge Railway station, making my way to the underground, when I espied the small kiosk of Ross Watch Repairs. I was going to meet friends but that morning. I noticed that my Tag Heuer watch was skipping 4 seconds, the sign that a battery change was needed.
The small kiosk had everything required for a full watch service, including an ultrasonic deep cleaning bath and an ingenious glass lidded device that tests the watch for atmospheric pressure.
I asked how quickly could he do a battery swop and he said six and a half minutes, with a smile. I have watched a battery swop before and he was very knowledgeable, taking care to lubricate the silicone sealing ring, cleaning the watch back very carefully and reinstating it. Then tested the watch under the glass dome, which checks the seal is water tight, filled out a guarantee card and the whole transaction took less than 10 minutes and he never looked like he was rushing.
If you were to drop your watch off on your way to town and leave it, you should get a new looking watch on collection.
Just so you know, my battery swop, with 12 month warranty was under £60.
Honestly, that is a bargain.
"I am very pleased with the service provided by the company. My watch looks brand new, and I couldn't be happier with the results!"
Broke my watch ,then kept it for 8 months and finally sent back but not waterproof any longer ,so after being left without watch for best part of a year ,watch is now less functional than I originally sent for simple battery replacement
