Easy online purchase fast shipping

This is my first time using RoyalShave and I found it to be quite easy to use, fast with shipping, and overall a very good price. I bought a single 6/8 straight razor from Dovo and am very happy with it.

I never received my order of pomade, and when I tried to make contact I could never get a hold of them and never got an email reply back. Bad service all around.

Got all of my pomades on time and was very excited to get a sticker to put on my guitar case.

When I started shaving in my late teens, I started with a triple head Norelco. Decent enough shave, but I didn't know any better. Ran that shaver, and a replacement, into my 30's with periodic cartridge shavers. After my second electric failed, I decided to move to a cartridge shaver full time going forward. Great shave and definitely better than the electric (burn). But with my complex beard (swirls, patches, and odd growth patterns) I have to shave with, and against, the grain to get a close shave. The cost of shaving was $$$! So I decided to go "retro" and picked up a nice straight razor. Challenging to begin with, and with my complicated beard, damn near dangerous! So, back to cartridges. But I liked the retro idea. Now into my 50's, let's see if "Dad knew best". So I picked up a Merkur 34C. Wow! How is it we have been brainwashed into thinking we needed 42 blades at $6/wk (4-5 shaves for me) to get the shave we crave? The 34C is a little smallish for my hands, but a great shave! Construction is solid and a good fit and finish. Plating looks robust and likely to last a lifetime (mine, or my sons). Improving my technique will only improve an otherwise great shave. I'll probably pick up a Merkur 38C for the extra length and heft. The only way I'll use a cartridge again is travel and the TSA restrictions regarding my carry-on luggage. But even that, I'll still bring the shaver along, sans blades, in hopes of finding something local at my destination. If you're on the fence, get off it and buy one of these. You will not be disappointed. I promise...
