Very rude customer service
Very little communication and when I did manage to speak to someone he was very rude and un helpful. Paid for next day delivery but didn’t receive my parts for 3 weeks turned out to be incorrect anyway then had to wait another 2 weeks, no compensation and not one care from the company

First part arrived but been a nightmare since

Arrived fine, forgot one part and told me another part would fit from eurocar parts but will send the part out.
No that didn't work, waste of money as I couldn't return. Then rang again for my part they missed and they hadn't sent it out. Rang again a week later and they said they had forgotten! Now had to pay someone to basically do the whole job again and I am massively out of pocket. Not happy at all. Also customer service was trying to sell Me the wrong product for my car and also giving false advise on something they know nothing about

Poor communication and unresolved order

The product quality itself seems fine, however the issue is with the delivery and communication.
I ordered a specific clutch specification (twin friction organic/ceramic). After a long production time, a different version was delivered without prior agreement.
The seller confirmed in writing that the correct item would be sent as a replacement, but more than a month later there has been no delivery or update despite follow-up emails.
I hope this gets resolved, but at the moment the order is still incomplete.

Sent wrong clutch, awful customer service

Unfortunately customer service is shocking.
I placed my order online on the 30th of September, after 2 weeks I received the wrong clutch kit. Straight away I was on the phone to mark Kelly where I was automatically assumed at fault for ordering the wrong item (untrue), RTS would not send me the correct one until the previous had been returned (at my £20 expense).

on the 24th of October I’d emailed for an update on the new clutch kit as I’d already returned the wrong one. Mark said it was being made Monday and would be with me early that same week, it wasn’t, by the 30th it still wasn’t here, I was then asked to confirm my REG which seemed strange after I’d already been told my clutch was being made days before the email.
Also in the email I’d asked for reimbursement for the postage fee as it wasn’t my fault, this was completely ignored and never mentioned again.
I was beginning to think I’d been scammed out of £640.

Still on the 30th of oct Steve Rogers took over the emails, finally after sending proof and attaching photos over email, on the 4th of November I was told the correct clutch was on its way.

DX delivery was then failed 3 times despite someone always being home, not the fault of RTS but delivery should have been prioritised considering I was out of pocked for returning their mistake anyway, still fuel on the fire. I didn’t receive the correct kit until the 11th of November! I had placed the order in September. A full month after receiving the wrong one.

1200 miles on the clutch now but after reading the reviews I don’t know if I can even trust it, if it does break I won’t be getting a replacement from RTS simply because of the hassle. I’ll be going else where and informing those who i know that consider buying from this business.

£900 down for an item I never received

Spent £900 on a clutch which went missing during the delivery process. I was in touch with RTS within an hour of me getting notification it had been delivered to advised no one was at my address and it hadn't been signed for. They palmed me off for a few days and then provided PayPal with a false signature and said as far as they were concerned it had been delivered. I never got the item I paid for and they refused to refund my £900. I will never order anything from this company again and would strongly recommend everyone else to do the same. Customer service is shocking and their delivery method is not secure. AVOID AVOID AVOID

We supplied your clutch kit and dispatched it via DX. The item was delivered and DX provided a signature and 2 photo's as evidence of receipt. You raised a dispute with Paypal. Paypal agreed that the items had been delivered after reviewing the evidence submitted by DX. Why we are being gven a 1 star rating is beyond me. And as for stating we provided a fraudulent signature??? The signature is supplied was from DX who obtained the signature from you. You should be leaving feedback fro DX not RTS.

Took forever to receive clutch

Took forever to receive clutch. Maybe 4-5weeks. Was supposed to be a new clutch pressure plate was stamped 2023! And whoever I was talking at rts was a cheeky and condescending!

Nothing about the quality of the clutch product then? You ordered a bespoke paddle build which we explained would take 4 weeks as we had to bring in smaller segments. hope you enjoy your clutch anyway

We were sold a transmission

We were sold a transmission, had it installed and it no good. We had it taken out and asked for a refund. We have been over three weeks. They have lied to us, tried to cheat us. We’ve called them almost everyday asking for them to send a call tag. They said that the transmission had red paint on it because they marked it, it did not we gave them some numbers and they said it was a match. Still no refund. Don’t use these jokers! They will cheat you!

Disgraceful.....AVOID!!!

Absolutely shocking customer service from this company! Ordered a clutch from them Tuesday last week to be told it would be with us Friday the same week. Clutch didn't arrive so contacted them to be told it was being dispatched Monday this week to arrive Tuesday. Still no clutch so rang them again and now being dispatched Thursday this week! Clutch arrived this morning! minus a slave cylinder which we had also paid for!
I would advise anyone to steer clear of this business.
As a business ourselves we pride ourselves on our customer service and would rather disappoint with the truth than cause huge inconvenience with a lie. Huge inconvenience and disruption is exactly what this company have caused to not only us but a very valued customer!
I wish I'd have read reviews before ordering not even worth a 1 star rating!!!

Terrible customer service always quick to blame others. The quality of parts is shocking DO NOT BUY FROM THESE i have never wrote a review before but after being still in warranty and nothing being done they deserve one

Refund and communication problems..

I ordered a clutch kit from RTS Performance on the 6th of July. I requested a refund the next day after realizing I had ordered the wrong clutch kit. I wrote an email to Mark, and he replied that the refund would be processed.

After two weeks and several emails, I only received a partial refund on the 18th of July. (£100 from £795,94) After this, Mark said on the 22nd of July that another payment had been sent. However, as of today (29th of July), I haven’t received anything.

I wrote multiple emails to Mark but got completely ignored - no response. On the 24th of July, I sent a message to their Facebook page (RTS Europe), and they finally replied, saying the refund had been finalized and that I should receive a confirmation email on Monday (28th).

As expected, I have’t received anything on Monday, so I wrote them a message, they replied that the payment would be sent on 29th of july and their account department would contact me. To no surprise, no one has contacted me today (29th). They even started ignoring my messages on messenger.

At this point, I’m seriously considering a chargeback through my bank if nothing shows up tommorow.

This has been extremely frustrating. I wouldn’t recommend ordering from this company unless you’re prepared for poor customer service and no refunds. I regret giving these scammers a chance.

Edit: Had to open a dispute with my bank, they are ignoring me, not responding to any of my messages. NEVER ORDER ANYTHING FROM THEM AND NEVER GIVE THEM MONEY THEY ARE JUST A BUNCH OF SCAMMERS !!

Edit 2: Your reply is just straight up lies. I cancelled the order exactly the next day that I ordered becouse I ordered the wrong item mistakenly. There was no FedEx tracking, no customs notification, and no VAT due – you’re just making this up now. You refunded only £100 out of £800, then started ignoring me completely. I’ve now opened a dispute through my bank because this is clearly not how a legitimate business behaves. You can’t take someone’s money, give no product, and then disappear. And you said that the clutch was built on the day of my order? So your’re saying that you built the clutch on sunday?😂 Bunch of scammers and liars. AVOID THIS COMPANY! Look at other reviews.

I’ll let Trustpilot and Revolut handle the rest.

The bespoke clutch was built the day of your order and dispatched via Fed Ex. The item is showing at waiting at customs for you to pay the duty. You did not want to pay the dusty on the item so have now tried to cancel it. We even returned you £100 refund to help with clearing duties and VAT in your country and set your account up as trade. The scammer here is you. I will be reporting you to T/Pilot

This business is really bad i order a reservoir tank for the radiator for my 2023 toyota tundra they said they had it but it took them 10 day to ship it the problem was i specifically said i wan all the hoses that go on the tank they are 3 total they said it will come with it i even pay more for the hoses but guess what they cut the hoses and they sent like that the hoses are spacial i told them I want to return the thank i can't use it like that if i get hoses at the dealer they are expensive that's why i try to get those used but this people are not good business antil now no answer for the return confirmation i paid $345 for the tank my advice is don't buy anything from this people horrible business

Dont recommend

Ordered a Clutch kit, tried cancelling my order the same day to be told it had already been shipped. When it showed up 2 weeks later I sent the clutch back to never receive a refund and was told they have not received the return, even though I had DPD proof that it was returned.

Hi. No you tried to cancel the order the following weeks after we had built you a bespoke hand built clutch. Out returns policy states if we have built any bespoke clutches they cannot be returned once delivered.

Terrible service

Where do I start here, bought a clutch kit and brakes for my VW golf in October 24, paddle clutch kit that when fitted we discovered the slave cylinder was blocked and stopped the car bleeding up. When first told them of the issue they were very defensive and only after lots of arguments and stress they sent me a replacement, which was standard not updated as I originally purchased. I also ordered black discs and received standard silver, after being told I’d need to return them and them accept them before sending me the black ones, I just accepted them as the car was already stripped and waiting.

Now 8 months later and the clutch has failed, causing a hole in my gearbox housing. Again lots of back and forth with them showing little interest in helping until I suggest I would take the matter further, offered a replacement of just the singular part that failed. I asked to start a claim for my losses, again lots of threats and terrible emails and calls, finally agreed that I would get the part and a discount on the other parts I asked for a time frame for the parts on multiple times over 3 days to never be told when I would receive them.

I have since sourced the parts elsewhere and raised a dispute with my credit card company, as my last email went ignored.

Have since discovered that they have 2 companies with almost identical names. Mark and Steve seem to swap between them who the directors are, again when challenged becoming threatening over the phone.

I genuinely regret ever letting Steve’s great sales patter at the start of all of this cloud my judgment.

Thanks for you erroneous review. You have failed to mention the real reason of your complain which was your SACHS DMF had a manufacturing fault with a dowel pin becoming loose. We don't manufacture DMF's? This was explained that the DMF is a SACHS product and we asked you to return the clutch and flywheel which you have done.

Sachs advised hat your report would take between 2-4 weeks. You were not happy with that time scale so we both agreed that RTS would initially send out another DMF as a gesture of good will and you were happy to pay for a new racing paddle clutch. Once we got the report back from SACHS then if the damage was caused either by installation error or driver mis-use then you would happily make payment for the DMF. This is in an email from yourself.

Regards to us having various companies under the RTS Group, Yes we do. We have different companies representing our export business, Racing Team, Performance shop and engineering companies.
We will report this review to Trust Pilot.

Hello.

We explained that this was OE Only and it was on back order with the manufacturer. You were not prepared to wait and raised a charge back with paypal. We cancelled the order as per your email. Paypal held onto your funds while they investigated your complaint. This is nothing to do with RTS. We advised closing the claim which would of allowed us to return your funds but as it was kept open Paypal held all funds until a future date. You have since now had your money returned to you by Paypal.

We don't manufacture that particular Flywheel and this was explained to you at the start of the order process.
