Thank you for leaving a review.
I have checked your purchase and can see that you ordered a roll of our self adhesive sponge strip. It is rubber but has a spongy consistency which is clearly noted on the product page on our website. We do sell solid rubber strips which are much harder, this may have been what you were looking for.
We appreciate that not everyone will know the differences between types of neoprene rubber and we're always here to help provide advice when needed.

Roll of foam rubber 25mm x 25mm
These guys had the exact type of self adhesive foam rubber seal that I needed. It is quite heavy so it should work well. It arrived quickly, and wasn't expensive so I'm happy all round. A good company, in my opinion.
