My life was busy and I wanted someone to hand me the inspiration, equipment, and instructions to let me skip to the fun part –making beautiful things. When I couldn't find it, I made it happen! I love seeing the joy other people experience from making craft art they're proud of. But more than that, I see the mindset transformation as they experience the benefits of taking time out to DIY - the relaxation, focus, and peace we feel when making something. Review Manipulation, Low Quality Scam
It is really concerning to me that several of my authentic negative reviews have been removed from trust Pilot, especially for the company Rubyoo. DO NOT ORDER from this company, as it is from China with Chinese business practices, specifically their return policy. I will return to this site to ensure my reviews stay posted indefinitely, so the more you remove my comments, the more I will leave.
If you have opened an item, the company will not accept returns, which means if you open the item to see the quality of it, you are committing yourself to keeping it! This company rips off artists on ETSY and sells low quality knock offs.

Awful quality
Awful quality. The cloth is so thin it frays every time you poke it with a needle. The wool breaks and the colours don't match the pattern. Cheap tat. Avoid.

Terrible
Terrible! The kit came and the instructions were awful and didn't match the picture. Thread colors were missing and not the same as shown. I tried to do a return and despite their "no hassle return" policy, they had a hundred hoops to jump through and it was a mess. I ended up contacting my bank to try to get the funds back.

We sincerely apologize that you are not satisfied with our products.
We have reviewed the email you sent us. You stated that the packaging of the box was damaged and requested refund. After our inspection, we found that one corner of the box did show some deformation, but it was not actually broken. We would like you to provide us with product images to verify if there is any damage. If there is damage, we can offer a full refund or provide you with a new product. However, you did not provide the product images and requested a return and refund. Therefore, we have finally processed your request following the normal return procedure.
If there is no problem with the products themselves , we will first provide partial refund and inquire with you if you are willing to keep it, in order to save your time. If you do not wish to keep it, we will provide you with a return address to send it back for the item's full refund.
Scam, avoid this company
My order of two items took over 4 weeks to arrive and when it did it was terrible quality. Annoyingly I trusted the trust pilot rating (which has since reduced)
Embroidery kit pattern doesnt match instructions so there are instructions missing and the design on the pattern doesnt match the advertised pattern.
The cross stitch pattern is on the wrong colour Aida fabric (yellow instead of black) and the pattern doesnt spell the words as intended.
Complete scam.
Edited to add: the email from customer service offered a 50% refund (on a 100% defective product) if I deleted this review. No refund for leaving this review here. Dont use this company.

Very disappointed
Very disappointed. I used one of the stick on embroidery patterns which were lovely but after washing the off the dissolvable material it has left behind dirty smudges around my embroidery and ruined what I have made. I can’t get it off despite soaking and re washing. It’s was to be a present and it’s ruined. The ink used is no appropriate. I have 2 others but I cannot use them.

My latest completed wooden puzzle called 'The Garden Shelf'.
I have just completed the 5th puzzle in my recent order from Rubbyoo, with 4 more to do.
This one was called 'The Garden Shelf'. It was very detailed and it was only when completed that I noticed some features,- like butterflies, a rabbit, fish, birds etc.
It was complex which is a feature I like as it makes the brain active. I have very many from this and other companies but the Rubbyoo ones have a lovely 'glass' like finish which I really like.

Mistake in items sent but correct ones came a day later from Rubbyoo
I ordered 3 embroidery kits and received.....6 odd Chinese plastic knee supports or possibly something to put over shoes for another customer.
UPDATE: another delivery arrived the day after which WAS THE CORRECT one for me so that’s better thank you.

About as slow as shipping as a slug.
I placed an order on the 31st January 2026, it's currently the 10th February and my item hasn't even been dispatched yet! This was meant to be a gift. Was told standrd processing times were 5-7 working days, but this is ridiculous. I won't ever use this company again. Shipping is meant to be upto 15 days, but doesn't look remotely possible. Awful service.

Great customer service
I ordered two of the same kits and asked Rubbyoo about returning them. They offered me a refund without needing to return the two kits. I thought that was very Nice of them.

I’m really happy with Rubbyoo!
I’ve placed a couple of orders now with Rubbyoo and been very happy with the kits and the service. Both orders were around £80/£90 for 6 or 7 kits and I was delighted with the designs which are a bit more unusual and interesting than those that you can buy elsewhere. The kits include everything you need to complete them and I received my complete orders within 14 to 21 days of placing the order which is trackable if you use the Shop/Shopify app. I haven’t had any issues with colours bleeding into the background. What I do is rinse them in warm water to remove most of the rice paper and then wash them in the machine at 20 degrees on a 15 minute wash. The come out perfect and ready for pressing and framing. Overall, I’m really happy with Rubbyoo and enjoy their periodic emails including pictures of new kits and information on how to sew different embroidery stitches. Happy sewing!
