Ruby made my transition to them very simple. I had a lot going on during this transition, and Jack and Becca were awesome, and extremely helpful. I can't tell you the stress that has been removed from me just by having the Ruby team on board. They answer every call in a very professional manner. I no longer am bothered by junk calls, because they get screened before reaching me. (I am told about them, but I don't have to deal with them). I have recommended them to many other businesses already. Seriously, Great to be working with you all. Becca, especially has been so helpful. I can't say enough good things about her and the entire team. Thank you.

Easy Peasy Setup

We recently opened a new business. We are not at the point where we can justify adding another person to answer phones. We have used their services for about 6 months, and Ruby has been working well for us. It allows us to have phone coverage while we are out in the field on job walks. I love that we can tailor the questions/scripts to our market. They gather all the information that I need to get straight to creating estimates. It is really hard to tell that phones are being answered by a call center, and that is what I like the most. It just sounds like another person in our center. The reporting tools are great as well. Finally, we initially started with a higher plan. Once we had enough data, they suggested we go down a plan. I appreciate that! We completely satisfied and would recommend this service to anyone. Set up was super easy as well.

Great Customer Service-Very Helpful

Deceptive billing practices

I was a faithful customer for many years, until I realized they were answering only a couple of calls a month. I went into my dashboard and tried to cancel my subscription, but they kept billing me.

Eventually I had to cancel my credit card to stop the recurring payments. Ruby continued to bill me for six months after that (always declined, of course), and then surprised me by sending me to a collections agency.

Absolutely deceptive billing practices - do NOT use this company.

Torie, thank you for sharing your feedback. We believe it's essential to provide additional context to ensure a fair understanding of the situation.

In the fall of 2023 we enhanced our technology. During this migration we were unable to transfer your current payment method on file, and began our attempts to contact you. We have documentation of our Account Receivable payment specialists and Billing Support Specialists making multiple attempts to connect with you by email and phone. These connections attempts were made on 10/27/23, 11/20/23, 11/28/23, 12/15/23, 12/26/23, 12/28/23, 1/24/24, 2/7/24, 2/14/24, 2/20/24, and 2/28/24. The only response we received was in response to the email sent on 02/28/24 indicating you had attempted to cancel your account online.

When our team was unsuccessful in reaching you on the phone, follow up communication was sent by email 03/05/24 advising you that we did not see any record of a cancellation request in our system. As an auto pay customer, per our terms of use to upgrade, downgrade or cancel the Services you have selected, you would need to contact Ruby by email billing@ruby.com or by calling 866-611-7829. At this time you were advised that, your service will be available through March 23rd. At the end of that day, your Ruby Receptionists forwarding numbers would be routed to a disconnect notice. Included was the advisory that you were welcome to continue using Ruby until then. During the course this series of communication we continued to receive and handle your calls, as you had continued to publish your Ruby forwarding number. As per our commitment at the end of day 03/23/24, we disconnected the phone line and made a final attempt to contact you 03/28/24.

While it's regrettable that we couldn't continue our partnership under more favorable circumstances, we hope this clarifies our perspective and the steps we took to address your concerns. Should you have any further questions or require assistance, please don't hesitate to reach out as we are committed to ensuring no issue remains unresolved.

Pretty Good

Overall, a pretty good experience. I just wish they would have the option to record calls. The receptionists are friendly, although some calls do take close to 10 minutes and it's hard to determine why. I understand that it is hard to cut off clients, especially the really talkative ones. As receptionists, there should be a balance of being professional but also directing the conversation back on track. There are some grammatical errors in their typed messages at times, but that is to be expected. I do like the dashboard that allows you to see the history of calls.

I like that I also received the caller information and reason for their call. They also weed out the spam and marketing calls for me.

Would recommend!

If you provide them with specific instructions, the receptionists do a great job! Customer service is easy to get ahold of when changes on the account need made, too.
