We are a group of friendly, expert, optical practices who have served our communities in South East London, North Kent and Surrey for decades.
We have many years of experience in taking care of all our customers’ eye care needs and concerns. Our friendly team of eye care professionals offer quality eye care, optical products, and exemplary customer service to all of our clients. We make sure to take the time to hear the needs of our customers and have since developed a recipe for a consistently enjoyable experience.
Our team of experienced optometrists, dispensing and contact lens opticians are dedicated to providing you with exceptional quality eye care services, at fair prices, you can trust us to take care of your eyesight and vision needs.
We offer a wide range of services including specialist eyecare, dry eye management, sunglasses, children’s eye care, myopia management and hearing care.
Our practices are located in Crystal Palace, East Dulwich Purley, Sydenham, Welling, and West Norwood. We look forward to welcoming you to the renowned Woodfalls experience.
We pride ourselves on the expert and friendly service we offer at each of our six branches.
The clinical reputation and range of services offered by Woodfalls has continued to grow, our success has been due to our committed optometrists, fully qualified dispensing and contact lens opticians, optical assistants and a team of dedicated support staff.
Our practices are fully equipped with the latest in optical equipment and all of our branches offer specialist services. We have the latest OCT (optical coherence tomography) machines at all six sites, we now also offer Optomap scanning, plus The Hearing Care Partnership to provide all things audiology.
As an independent group of opticians we dedicate the time necessary to ensure our customers receive the best care and advice. We work closely with our clinical partners to ensure we focus on our local communities and provide the very best clinical care.

I have used this optician for many years and have always been very satisfied. I had an appointment last week and ,as usual, all the staff were helpful .The optometrist tested my eyes and I was given a good a selection of glasses to choose from.
I was very pleased with the whole experience. Thank you.

Was good
Was good, however I was told my son was need eye drops and that didn’t happen at the appointment. Also the staff was asking my 4 year old son to look left and right. He doesn’t know that yet. Also asked him how long his eyes feel a certain way. Saying things like hair half and hour or an hour. He’s 4 and doesn’t understand time. Other than this, the appointment was good. Just some feedback

Aman, the ophthalmologist was excellent.He was a good listener, very helpful & a great communicator. I told him I was suffering with dry & gritty eyes. He explained in plain language, that the tear glands were causing this problem. After my examination, he suggested the eyedrops & eye mask to sort out my eye issues which I bought. My eyesight hadn’t changed, so I didn’t need any new glasses. The optician also adjusted my glasses as they kept moving down on my nose. Overall I had an excellent experience.

All staff very friendly and knowledgable. Eye test was thorough and everything explained. Choosing new glasses was easy with nothing too much trouble.

Eye test
Helpful reception staff. I felt the eye test was rather rushed. I suffer from blepharitis/dry eye which was not picked up during the test. Also felt focus was on selling the £35 OCT examination!
