I am extremely disappointed with the service I received from Ryder and Dutton

A property viewing was arranged and confirmed via text message a day prior yet no representative attended at the agreed time. No advance notice was provided nor was any attempt to provide a cancellation or delay in the appointment and when I called them it took me more than 5 minutes to get through to someone. This demonstrated a clear lack of professionalism and consideration for my time.

Communication throughout the process has been consistently poor. Responses have been delayed, and there has been a noticeable lack of proactive engagement, making what should have been a straightforward process unnecessarily frustrating.

Of particular concern was the disclosure of another prospective purchaser’s financial offer. Sharing details of another party’s position is, in my view, highly inappropriate and raises serious concerns regarding confidentiality, professional standards, and the handling of sensitive information.

I would expect a reputable estate agency to demonstrate reliability, professionalism, and discretion. Unfortunately, my experience fell well short of these expectations, and I cannot recommend their services based on the treatment I received.

Unethical practice and silent treatment after allowing me to be gazumped. Lost money on surveys and searches. Id never use or buy a property advertised with R&D. Zero stars from me.

I have renting a property through Ryder and Dutton for several years. During that time I have dealt with Ms Sarah Green who has been, and continues to be, and excellent agent. Very little has needed attention but Sarah has organised everything quickly. The Landlord has also been very cooperative. All in all my dealing with Ryder and Dutton has been remarkable!

The valuation and sales team at Ryder Dutton did a great job. They organised a lot of viewings of our property and replied very promptly to all our queries. They were always polite and proactive. They supplied feedback from potential buyers - which was very helpful. Thanks very much to Jaimie and Nick.

Recently viewed an R&D property - Amy was lovely and professional. By far, she was the friendliest member of staff we have encountered. She made a conscious effort to get to know myself and my husband, what we were looking for in a property and made general conversation about family life. Would highly recommend asking for Amy when viewing a property or would like more information on any R&D properties. Thanks again Amy!

We have worked with Ryder & Dutton in Rawtenstall on several occasions, both as a buyer and as a vendor. We couldn't be happier with the service we've had on every occasion. The entire team are so great to work with. Their communication is excellent, super professional and always one step ahead. We were apprehensive about our most recent property sale, as we navigated it from the other side of the world. Ryder & Dutton accommodated this perfectly and made sure we could coordinate everything online. We highly recommend them and extend our thanks to Megan, Jaimie, Shannon, Graham and the rest of the team for all their hard work and professionalism. Buying my first property with my partner Tyler has been quite a confusing process and the staff at Ryder and Dutton have been amazing. Grace has been amazing, she has coped with my many emails (sorry) and been very helpful and informative throughout the process! I’d also like to thank the staff at the Rawtenstall branch mainly Jaime, for being friendly and supportive with my every query, which as a first time buyer there was many. Grace and Jaime are very professional and approachable. Thank you for helping secure me and Tyler’s first home!

Although Ryder and Dutton were our vendors estate agent, they were very helpful when we had questions about the property we were looking to purchase and acting very professional when dealing with us

Geraldine Marsden our Move Manager has been excellent in keeping us up to date with progress of the sale of the property. Put on the market at the beginning of January and sold by the 13th February!!! Jamie Clayton has also been very helpful. The staff at the Rawtenstall branch are all a really friendly bunch. Great estate agents , friendly knowledgeable and always happy to help no matter the question, Adam and Ada have been fab and supportive, the house has sold after a very short time on the market would recommend ryder and dutton is buying or selling your house.
