Safa Travel

Safa Travel confirmed my booking and took my full payment for 5 star package. After payment, they suddenly claimed the hotel was “no longer available” which is false. After receiving the money, they disappeared and refused to help. They then offered worse hotels and demanded extra charges up to £400 per person.

Their communication is unprofessional, dismissive, and full of excuses.
Do not trust this company, they take your money and vanish. Disappointing.

I just returned from (Umrah), it was amazing not to thank (Safa) traveling enough, Maryam was very helpful, accessible, always responsive, Maryam was checking with us all tge way, can not recommend enough this place, will definetly go again with them

Trusting the company for the first time and their 100%delivery a personal tour guide of the umrah itself. Accommodations in Mecca and madina both were excellent for the price we paid.

If I could give a lower rating I would. I never thought people would try to steal money from those trying to travel to Allah’s house, the most precious place on earth. I had to change my originally booking due to my 1 year old daughter having a brain tumour and being diagnosed with cancer, at first they were supportive. Maryam agreed to get me a partial refund for my original booking and rebook something else as it was only for 3 days. My daughter’s cancer is rare and aggressive therefore they had to start the treatment asap. I explained this to Maryam and she agreed she could get me a refund and she could process a new booking for me. She told me I would get a refund of £2k after 40 days, now she is saying she didn’t say that and she didn’t cancel the booking she changed it because I said so. I explained my financial situation and she said she understood, I couldn’t afford an extra £2k then and I can’t now. They’re lying and trying to keep my money.

Please help me and advise me if you have experienced anything similar and any next steps.

If this isn’t resolved, I will be seeking legal advice.

I had an excellent experience booking my Umrah trip with Safa Travels. From the very start, their professionalism and care stood out. A special thank you to Shahmeer, who made the entire process seamless and stress-free.

He guided me step by step through the booking, patiently answered all my questions, and ensured every detail was taken care of — from flights and visas to hotel arrangements. His communication was always prompt and clear, and he genuinely went above and beyond to make sure I felt confident and well-prepared for this important journey.

It’s rare to find such dedicated customer service these days. Shahmeer’s support made all the difference, and I am truly grateful. I would highly recommend Safa Travels to anyone planning their Umrah or Hajj — trustworthy, reliable, and caring from start to finish.

"Alhamdulillah, I had an amazing Umrah experience with Safa travel agency. From visa processing to hotel arrangements and transportation, everything was well organized. The team specially Sania Ali was very cooperative and always available to answer my queries. The hotel was close to Haram which made my ibadah much easier. Jazaak ALLAH.

I booked my Umrah package with them and Sania was my agent. She was so helpful and friendly! She walked me through the entire process and offered me some fantastic packages. I loved how she took care of every detail and made sure I was comfortable throughout.

I am really thankful to Sania Ali to providing excellent service and always keep in touch with us every time, I am recommending everyone who will go to Umrah touch with Sania Ali to make your trip easy.

I was recommended this company as my Brother in law booked his trip for umrah last year,
I have been in contact with a lovely sister Sania Ali who has been absolutely amazing throughout my process of booking my first trip to umrah with my family in November this year 2025, I cannot recommend Sania enough she has been a Gem, to explaining everything each step of the way to making sure everything is booked, I honestly cannot wait to embark on this journey this year.
I will definitely be booking through Safa Travels for all future holidays and most definitely will want Sania to deal with everything for me.
Thank you so much Sania 💓

It was very nice and very helpfully.thankyou Safa travel for your good opinion.

Dear Safa Travel,

I am writing to formally express my dissatisfaction with the quality of service provided during my recent trip for umrah organised by your Safa Travel. Unfortunately, my experience was far below the expectations set by your company.

Firstly, I was assured that our hotel in Makkah would be in close proximity to Masjid al-Haram. However, upon arrival, we discovered that this was not the case. Additionally, we faced significant issues with our hotel bookings, as multiple hotels claimed we were not reserved. We also moved another hotel for a night, which was unhygienic and unacceptable.

Furthermore, there was a clear miscommunication regarding the ziyrat arrangements. Despite repeated confirmations from your travel agency in Saudi Arabia, we were informed that we were not booked for these essential visits, adding to our disappointment.

This experience has severely impacted our trip, and I believe it reflects a lack of professionalism and organization on your part. If this matter cannot be resolved satisfactorily, I will have no choice but to consider writing a negative review and exploring legal options.

Its was my first time booking with safa travel and the guy named awais helped me a lot and he helped me and my family to find a good and affordable umrah package.
