Very polite, helpful, and punctual guys. They fixed our garage roof leak. professional and trustworthy.

This company came out and inspected my mothers property saying that the guttering could be sorted for £200. They didn't provide a written estimate or details of the work this would include. Once on site and after having taken down the guttering, they started ramping up the price. It first jumped from £200 to £2500 and then to £4500. Lots of talk about needing to get scaffolding and roof repairs, but again nothing written down and no terms of business. They are not to be trusted and obviously play fast and loose trying to pressure people into spending silly money on things that just aren't needed. AVOID!

Please be very careful if you use this company, I am hoping the quality of work is up to standard as only time will tell, they charge top dollar and change there prices regularly while completing work, and I’m talking by a lot!!

They came to give a quote for some guttering/fascia’s that had come away due to being rotten underneath, the original quote was £400 but understandably there may be more work once they see underneath so it could be up to £2000 to £2500, this was agreed and work started.

Once started more work did need completing because of ware and tear, and at this point for me to refuse would have been very difficult they had put up scaffolding and couldn’t continue.

They quoted for a full replacement roof which I found out later was not needed, the quote was £20,000 plus VAT (this is a 4 bedroom semi-detached dorma bungalow, roof size is a 2 bedroom semi detached bungalow the additional 2 bedrooms were added as dorma’s), when this was questioned in about 20 minutes it was reduced to £15,000 plus VAT, again this was questioned, these prices for a replacement roof where ridiculous.

At this point they then decided they did not have to replace the full roof, but could do additional work by stripping back one side by 3 metres and replacing just the first third of the roof leading to the gutting, only approx 15 tiles had to be replaced the rest were the originals put back, The quote at this point changed to just under £7000

The same day once work started; the price then increased again by another £1000!!

By this point I was fed up and refused to pay the extra £1000.

Once the work was completed I had to get them back reluctantly, because the gutting on one side was not secure (it was raining and water was pouring out the end), they secured it but accused my son of pulling it off when he looked at it for me because I told him about the rain issue, this is a ridiculous statement why would he do that!!

They had also not cleaned some gutting at the back of my property which was on the invoice.

It was an awful experience and has become very apparent this company have hugely over inflated there prices.

I refused to pay the £7800 and paid £6300.

I live in Goole and the reason I used this company was because they were advertised as a local Goole company, with a Goole number, in my local trade magazine. It turns out they are based in Pontefract and they redirect Goole calls to the Pontefract office. I was not aware of this and wanted to use a local company
