This review is specifically for Darryl. He was very helpful for my daughter and she had 5 point increase in her ACT after working with him.

We couldn't be happier with the ACT support and results we got from HelloCollege !! Before working with them, we tried a different ACT tutor for our daughter (that came highly recommended by friends), but honestly they just weren't the "right fit."

From our first call with Ian Simon, we knew he understood that fit matters more than almost anything else. One of our biggest priorities was helping our daughter manage her test anxiety.What's great about HelloCollege is they have so many tutors on staff, all with different strengths and specialties, so there's really a match for every single student. And leadership actually takes the time to get that match right.

That's how we ended up with Shelley Farmer, and honestly she was the perfect fit. She's supportive, encouraging, and really knew how to motivate our daughter without adding stress. And she was always willing to work with her packed schedule. She even rearranged her availability more than once to work around our daughter's packed schedule.

With Shelley's help, our daughter's ACT score went up 5 point from the first time she took it in October (with her old tutor) to her third and last time in July. She beat her goal of breaking 30, and I'm positive that wouldn't have been possible without Shelley. Thank you !! =)

Sam was an excellent essay coach, responding very quickly and super easy to schedule. Always was full of life and energy and brightened my day when I spoke with her.

Ms. Shipman helped me narrow down and develop a strong list of colleges to apply to. I got in to 6/7 of the colleges I applied to. Hello college motivated me to complete my application for college and it helped me take advantage of opportunities outside of school searching.

We are officially about half way through our college application process. The SAT 1 on 1 tutoring with Darryl helped my son tremendously! We are excited to mark that complete on his to do list. The guidance, resume assistance, and spreadsheet from Brigid has been very helpful preparing for Common App.

I thought the experience was pretty good overall. However, I feel like the advice regarding the common app essay should focus more on telling the students story rather than just listing their achievements. I was told to just list achievements.
