Constant supply issues
Constant supply issues without warning. I used to LOVE this company! They weren't perfect, but the customer service was good and they were incredibly communicative. The last 6 months have been a living he&& for a perfume obsessed person like myself. He&& in that 1) they no longer ship/receive within the date frame they say or post online 2) regularly out of items but yet they are still listed on the site 3) and most recently, takes more than 1 try to reach someone to inquire about a paid for order that has not been received. Although I have gone back and forth with canceling my monthly and then restarting when they restock, I still went to them first for purchasing one-time buys. I kept giving these guys a chance but I don't think they really care about the business anymore so I will have to take my business elsewhere.

Hi! I love this shop, their scents are beautiful, but also packaged well and have great looking atomizers as well, the shop owners are so courteous and so sweet too, I give 20 👍 up💯

Constant supply issues
So all off their customers have issues with supply the correct fragrance. Reading reviews here, everyone have issues on a monthly basis with stock issues. Me too. And I don't think we all have the same item in our basket. So there is something very wrong in the company and I believe not even the owners are interested of fixing it.
I started my monthly subscription in the beginning of December... Surprise... Stock issue with my very first order. It came the end of January . My second order came on time - 2 days after my first order 🤣.
Now my third order have again supply issue...
And they are considered serious company. If I do that to my customers in UK, I will be out of business in no time.
I advice do not deal with scentbox. Just not worth the hassle.

I was a customer in 2019 and during covid. I canceled my subscription, and only recently inquired about renewing it. I cannot believe how expensive this service has become. 2 scents on platinum almost 60 usd a month 🙀

Let people search for fragrances before subscribing. If you already do it’s not discoverable. Your website sucks on mobile (horizontal scrolling is crap).
Might be a great product and I’d like it - I was intrigued from a YT ad and googled you. But sort out the top of your funnel its wasting your effort, time, and money.

Absolutely terrible customer service! I had an issue with my first order and their customer service was abysmal.
Nightmare!
I paid for my first box on 8th Jan. I selected the top tier Platinum 3 fragrance option. The most expensive subscription.
I waited for 2 weeks until the day of shipment (21st). nothing was shipped so i queried with scentbox. All 3 of my fragrances were out of stock. I asked to substitute for the next 3 fragrances on my list and was told, sure thats fine. 5 days later i had an email saying the next 3 fragrances were also out of stock. I have been chasing a refund for the past 2 weeks and have been told that they dont refund. Feels like a scam, they havent shipped me anything, seems they are UNABLE to ship me anything and refusing to refund. Probably the worst customer service experience of my life. I really would not recomend using Scentbox, you wont receive any fragrances and wont get a refund. I have needed to issue a chargeback with my credit card company due to the obvious fraud I have experienced.

After many more emails they have decided to "refund" my shipping charge ($4 USD) but they have applied it to my scent bucks balance meaning I get a $4 discount if i ever order a full bottle from them. Why on earth Would i ever consider ordering a full bottle from these jokers. Absolute bunch of idiots, I have not had one apology from them.

I’ve read a few reviews saying they have had this same issue so I’m glad I cancelled. I just started my subscription early this month, it was supposed to be sent on the 14th and I got an email on the 17th I think saying supply issue and delay in shipment. Kept saying shipping label created and waiting for package at the post office. Messaged them and emailed them multiple times. Finally gave up and cancelled it on February 1st. Still have yet to receive that shipment but it’s whatever…

What a joke got a perfume subscription for Christmas. No perfume !!!! . Been waiting 25 days for delivery. I guess its a scam . They do not refund . Unless you have money to waste do not subscribe.
Do not trust this company
Do not trust this company! The first couple of deliveries were fine and on time. I changed to the most expensive subscription over Christmas. They took the money but have not delivered my order. They sent an email saying it would be delayed by 5 days; that was 20 days ago. I have emailed, used their online contact form, and called but have never received a response. Clearly, they have some supply chain issues, but rather than face the problem, they are burying their head in the sand. I tried to remove my card details from their site so that I wouldn't be charged again, but they have locked that feature. The only thing I can think is they are in financial difficulty. Do not subscribe!!!!
UPDATE: I have now received a refund and they also sent out the missing delivery. However, I have still cancelled my subscription as getting a response from customer service takes far too long and they did not communicate about why and how long it would take to get my order. In the end, my order was 1 month late, and the only information I was told was it would be 5 days late.

I'm sooo disappointed in writing this review because I have been a Scentbox customer for 62 shipments! Yes, that's over 5 years. It wasn't until recently that I've been having issues with my order that made me cancel my longstanding subscription. I'm not sure if there's been a change behind the scenes but the customer service has gone down quite a bit. When making a complaint, they are very nonchalant and offer no help. I've had a delay in shipping due to supply issues" for the last 4 shipments and this last one that I'm currently still waiting for made me cancel my subscription and write this review. A shipping label was created on 01/09/2025 but I received an email on 01/14 that they were again having supply issues and that my shipment was delayed 4-5 business days. Well, today is 01/28 and the tracking no. from 01/09 has yet to be updated. I've emailed 3 times at this point, even expressing that I planned to cancel my over 5-year subscription and to that I was told "Unfortunately, we do not offer refunds on our monthly subscriptions. You will still receive your January shipment. Once you receive the shipping confirmation you will need to allow 7-10 business days, excluding holidays and weekends, for the parcel to arrive." They don't even acknowledge their wrongdoing, not even an apology. So I immediately cancelled my subscription. It's clear disregard of paying customer's complaints. So back to ScentBird I go.

I had a pause on the account for 12 months. Within 2 days it unpausing, I received a new credit card charge. I contacted customer service before they could ship a new perfume. They denied any refund or re-pause, and a couple days later, shipped out the product anyways.

Not great, not horrible. I’ve had my subscription for 6 months & I’ve had issues 2 months out of the 6. Broken sprayer one month & now they are hoping to send me my shipment in 4-5 business days (this will cause it to be very late). Do they not realize that for most people who use this service if there is anything that causes your shipment to be late that means you’re going without perfume? Customer service doesn’t really care. Definitely going to cancel my subscription, just doesn’t seem to be worth the hassle.
