Scolarshih's multi-use opener do not work…
I ordered 4 of Scolarshih's multi-use can and bottle openers directly from Scolarshih. The total was $37.77, but when I received the confirmation, the total was $45.32. After I contacted them, I was refunded the extra $7.55. BUT.....what arrived were 4 poor copies of the opener that was shown on their website. There were enough physical differences in the openers that I received to know immediately they weren't what was shown on their site. Similar, but not the same. I would classify them as poor copies or knock-offs. I only tested 2 of the applications (to open a water or soda pop bottle, and to open a vacuum-sealed jar top), and neither worked. I didn't try the beer can opener or the pull-top opener. There was no customer service phone number so I emailed the company. I got a response that said that I didn't know how to work their product. Yea, right. Then I got another response that they checked with their warehouse and I definitely received what I ordered. Which was true, but they didn't address the fact that said openers don't function. Then I got another email offering a $3US credit (for a $37.77 order.) The I got an email suggesting that I was causing too much "communication between multiple staff members"(??!!). Then it was suggested that I "have a happy life." I assume that there is a company that sells the real opener that is shown in online videos and different web sites, but, as from my experience, it is not Scolarshih. I have learned a valuable lesson, and that is to always order from Amazon (which indeed offers this exact opener) and should there be any problems, an easy return and full credit is available.
