Offered a joke price for a car that wasn't scrap. Extremely rude which says a lot about the "professionalism" of complete lack of! Wouldn't sell it to them even if they offered double. Manners cost nothihg!

Looked at a few scrap dealers to get rid of my car, they gave a great price, said car would be picked up next week, they kept me up dated all the way, guy came as arranged, collected car, money was in my account.

Cannot fault them

Excellent service from start to end called them on Friday night guy said would get in touch next few days but would be Tuesday or Wednesday for pickup told me price for my 2 cars. Got text on Monday to make sure Tuesday was OK with a 2 hr window. They arrived Tuesday took away cars. Money was in my bank before the end of day. A nice easy smooth process from start to finish if carlsberg scrapped cars they would struggle to beat these guys. Well happy

Got Chris today and by gosh that guy can navigate the truck, my drive is long narrow and down the back of flats… not easy but for Chris it was! but they put me at ease he was super friendly cant thank you all enough 100% will recommend to anyone.

Of all the quotes I got from many companies they were towards the higher quotes I received. Some of the higher quotes weren't keen to pick up in Ayrshire or required me to drop off Which I could not do.
A few quotes were around £70(no good) the highest were £180-200. Scrap a car Scotland gave £150 and picked up the next working day and transferred payment that day. A no nonsense transaction, they didn't sign v5 but texted the company name and postcode and advised to use gov.uk to immediately notify DVLA of sale\scrapping with reg. Number and v5 doc ref number. Very easy and it's better to do this personally anyway.
Very happy overall, we all think our poor car are worth much more but I have to say they gave among the best quotes and were very quick at pick up and payment.

I have used Scarp a Car Scotland 3 times now and I can highly recommend them. I got a quote for my car on their website and within 10 minutes I had a phone call arranging a date to pick the car up. The driver phoned me the night before and then 5 minutes before he arrived at my address. The car was on the back of the truck in 5 minutes and I was paid that day through bank transfer. On day of pick up, arrived within time frame, driver very friendly & helpful. Did all paperwork, explained how I could notify DVLA online and issued chq there an then.
