Wrong item sent twice

I ordered a baby item listed as new and I received a used item. The model in the box was also different that the one listed on the website and the box. I took the gamble again of trying to replace the order but the same exact situation happened again. Wasted an incredible amount of my time and I will never use this company again as its beyond their capacity to ensure what items are sent.

Amazing deals via Amazon and eBay!

I do not know why this company doesn't have a 5-star appeal to all, but my experience with them via eBay and Amazon has been fantastic. I have purchased 5 "refurbished" Sony Bluetooth speakers from them and every single one has worked perfectly. Not only that, they all look unused which makes me wonder how they can offer them at WAY LOWER prices than almost any other seller. In addition, they offer free shipping for RETURNS! Any one or two star review is probably just some lame-o that one-stars half their reviews. 5 stars well-deserved!

Weekender Open Story bag…

Ordered the Weekender Open Story bag from Target. It was "on sale" for $39. After three days of waiting it never moved from processing order status. I cancelled. I needed the bag soon. I googled it and found your site. Not only was the price $22, I got it in three days. Never heard of your site before but I'm happy I found it and will use it again

Items arrived new, better than expected

I ordered two stools that were originally from target and were listed as "open box". They both arrived in new, unopened boxes that were just a little dirty. The stools worked as expected, in mint condition.

Fraudsters!

2022 Oct 20 purchased one TV. Arrived Oct 31. 2023 Feb 06 started to turn screen black and internal error. Managed to get into the service mode and pulled the error code and with guess... a timestamp!!! 2022 Oct 28. They say out of 90 warranty.
So this is intentional fraud. Guess they were not smart enough to know modern tvs log everything with date.

Should be shut down

Should be shut down. Send packages with used bandages and trash in it. Broken items that are obvious store returns. I would bet these people do not even open the box before shipping it to a customer.

My first time ordering from this…

My first time ordering from this company, I should have listened to the reviews. I ordered a turntable which was described as new, when I received this item which was poorly packaged, it had a green sticker on it stating that it was salvaged. The box was clearly damaged and this product had been used, returned and God only knows what else. I don't know how this company can stay in business, this is basic stuff, a new item it should be in new!! If you value your time and money stay away from this company. Shame on you secondpity.

A whole lot of shenanigans

I placed an order, and the funds were immediately taken from my bank account. I checked the order the following morning, and it showed 'declined.' I was not sent any notification that there was a problem with the order...so I used the customer service chat, and here is the chat content:

09:56:27 Thank you for contacting us. An operator will be with you shortly.
09:56:42 Operator XXXXX joined the chat
09:56:47 Operator XXXXX: Hello. How may I help you?
09:56:56 Michael: Hello - yesterday I placed an order, 5107594
09:57:15 Michael: I checked this morning and it shows declined -- can you let me know the reason why, please?
09:58:20 Operator XXXXX: It appears that this order did not go through on our end, as it shows 'Declined'.
09:58:33 Operator XXXXX: However, we are not told why the payment is denied.
09:58:45 Operator XXXXX: At this time, the order will be refunded, and the funds should show in your account within 24-48 hours. Our apologies for the inconvenience.
09:59:27 Michael: well, my challenge with that response is that the funds were pulled from my bank account, so a payment decline is clearly not the issue
10:01:29 Operator XXXXX: Our system goes through a verification check when it tries to take the payment. The funds are put on hold until the order clears. Unfortunately, the order did not clear and the funds were released.
10:02:47 Michael: that's nonsense -- i went through amazon pay, and have never once had a problem. The problem is certainly not on my end. Thanks for your time.
10:03:02 Operator XXXXX: My Pleasure! Please let us know if you need any further assistance.
10:03:33 Michael: well, that is a lovely thought, but honestly you haven't assisted me...

To sum up, they took my money and, as of this note, have not in fact refunded it. I suspect the issue is thus: they advertised a VERY hot item (Oculus Quest 2, 256GB) at a too-good-to-be-true price, and I suspect they didn't actually have the item, but are using mass marketing to accrue a LOT of money from unsuspecting consumers, and will eventually refund if you continue to hound them...but all the while they can accrue interest on monies paid in good faith to them without having the product on hand to actually fulfill orders.

Not to mention that their customer service leaves a LOT to be desired.

STAY AWAY FROM THESE CROOKS!

Terrible company. I will not be doing business with them again. I ordered a Ryobi lawn tool and it arrived in a unpadded box that was torn completely open. The item was broken. All I got from Secondipity is was a return shipping label. So now I need to drive to the UPS store and return it and wait for my refund.

I talked to Paula. Very nice and I had a defective ROBI battery. They didn't have another so they sent me a UPS label to ship it back fo a full refund.
Great service and was worried because I'm not out $80 for a defective battery 😁

Secondipity it`s selling refurbished Sony TV`s like piece of garbage, don`t buy from them, i buy a Sony X900E 75" 4K Ultra HD and I pay $1599, that`s only work for 45 days and then start shutdown for no reason, don`t buy a REFURBISHED from SECONDIPITY, they don`t care and selling piece of garbage, they posted on eBay ,Rukuten, neweeg, amazon and to many pages
