Contacted Interactive Investor due to an issue with my trading account. I spoke with Euan who sorted it out promptly and efficiently. Moreover, I was very pleased by the kind treatment I received. It was an overall excellent customer experience.

Spoke to customer service to request a valuation. The call was answered quickly by Adam G and he was able to provide the information promptly after security checks. Thank you.

I. wanted to buy some shares but the system was difficult to negotiate. The trader, Liam, and his colleague , were very patient and helpful

I called about a log-in problem and Chelsea dealt with this in a very competent and kindly manner

I spoke to James Hughes who helped me with the transfer of shares from ne account to other. Service was prompt and efficient and everything went well in conducting transfers.

I had problems logging on yet again after EQi was taken over by Interactive Investor. I spoke to Amy H. She was brilliant and guided me through the process effortlessly and efficiently. I wish everyone I speak to at various companies could be just as good.

After a less than helpful phone call to an II customer service rep a couple of days ago, I decided to try again today. I spoke to Matty, who was extremely helpful and polite, managing to sort out the problem without going through the tedious process that the first contact was insisting on. Thanks very much!

I have been trying to solve a small problem with my account for sometime. Today Nicola was extremely helpful and proactive, restoring my faith in this company.

Fantastic service from Joao! He could not have been more polite, helpful and patient. He wouldn't finish the call until he had succeeded in getting me set up on my account (even though it meant waiting for me each time to go outside with my mobile phone 4 or 5 times to get a signal in order to receive the security codes etc). Excellent customer service - many thanks Joao!

Personally I feel EQi sold themselves out to a far inferior competitor. Things I would like to do but cannot with ii:
1. Change my DD date. ii tell you where you can do that on their website but when you go there, that facility does not exist
2. Easily make payments by bank transfer. Their preference is for you to do this by debit card. I would prefer not to store this info. online
3. When I reluctantly uploaded my bank card details the payment failed, so I went to use another bank card instead only to be told you can only change bank card details once every 30 days.
That means I will not be able to make my regular investment this month because the DD date does not tally with ii's regular investment date and I can't top up using a(nother) bank card. Thanks ii.
Feel like I've been sold a pig in a poke.

Hopefully by buying EQi you'll invest a bit more in your user interface. Unattractive interface not at all user friendly. I know this is my first month, so I'm giving you a chance. But if things don't revert to the level of expectation I had with EQi I shall be taking my business elsewhere before the year is out.

I almost forgot. I sent a secure message 3 days ago. Still awaiting a response.

In summary, and to be fair, viewing things on the ii website is fine, but wanting to do things is another thing entirely.
