Posivite aspects:
The food was delicious (also vegetarian food)
In general the national parks and campsites were great and we saw a lot of animals.

Negative aspects
The organisation of the tour was bad and did not represent what we had booked. This lead to a lot of conflicts and discussions. The Safari time was shortened and they tried to brush us off when we complained and requested the Safari time we paid for.

The so called expert guide for the first 4 days was horrible, he was only a driver. In general, he did not spot any animals and never gave us information without beeing asked. He was neither interested in nature nor did he know about the flora and fauna. Furthermore, he repeatedly told us wrong facts about animals. Every time we stopped, he immediately was at his phone for private stuff.

We told the company beforehand, that we are two biologists. We have booked this tour because the company promised expert guides who have studied. After a lot of complaints during and after the tour we only got 5,56% refunded, altough we clearly did not get what we've booked. We are very disapointed and do not recommend Serengeti African Tours.

Incredible safari experience with our guide Aboh from Serengeti African Tours

This has been the most, or at least one of the most extraordinary experience my girlfriend and I ever had.

Our guide, Aboh was incredible throughout this trip and made sure we had the best time possible. He knows the parcs and especially the serengeti by heart, is very knowledgeable about the parcs and the animals and always have very interesting stories. He is also extremely gifted to see animals we'd have missed without him. 1000 thanks to him.

Don't hesitate to ask for him personally for the best experience possible! (And if you want a french speaking guide).

We saw a lot of animals including big 5 our guide Ombeni was explaining everything he has more than 5 years experience has enough knowledge about wildlife, he got good eyes to spot animals we are so lucky to have him in our memorable safari.

After I did my research online to see which Safari tour company I wanted to book with, I read rave reviews about Serengeti African tours, so I booked a six day, safari tour with them, and my experience with them was phenomenal! They are professional, courteous, highly competent, And experienced. Even my plane ride from DFW to Africa, the man who sat next to me in the plane, who is from Africa, heard about Serengeti African tours, and confirmed that it is the best Safari tour company in all of Africa.

We just concluded our 8 days private Serengeti Safari with Lucas @ Serengeti African Tours and it was beyond our expectations. We worked directly with Lucas the owner to plan the ideal itinerary that best suited our wishes & desires for this adventure and have to say we were very impressed with him. He is an honest, prompt, reliable and very knowledgeable person. He did not disappoint!!! We were very pleased with the quality of lodging, our daily meals, the safety protocols at the tented camps, the fresh made breakfasts and dinners. We have seen so many wildlife in all parts of the Serengeti , from central to northern. We have even witnessed the great wildebeest migration crossing the Mara river 3 times in 3 days. Add to this the giraffes, zebras, lions, cheetahs, leopards, hippos, buffalo...etc. The driver / guide that was assigned to us was very good!! He was informative and followed safety protocols at all times. I highly recommend Lucas and his team, Serengeti African Tours.
