We would like to clarify that the operating system template you requested has already reached end-of-life and is therefore no longer part of our officially supported or offered images, as outlined on our website.
At your request, we nevertheless made repeated exceptions and installed this template for you 18 times within just a few days as a gesture of goodwill, in order to support your use case as much as possible.
Given these efforts, we believe that the characterization of our service as “scammers” does not accurately reflect the situation. Furthermore, as the service was provided and extended repeatedly beyond our standard scope, a refund is not applicable in this case.

Server4You has no sense of responsibility toward customer concerns. Their approach is shockingly rude, unprofessional, and utterly lacking in ethics.

We had been loyal customers of Server4You for over five years, consistently maintaining multiple dedicated servers and paying more than $100 per month.

A few months ago, a payment of around $10 for an additional IP address failed. Instead of restricting only the unpaid IP, Server4You unlawfully blocked our entire server. We attempted payment through multiple debit and credit cards, all of which worked flawlessly on other international platforms such as Alibaba.com.

We explained that the issue was limited to the additional IP and requested that only that service be suspended until payment was cleared. However, their team was extremely rude and insisted on blocking the entire server, even though we still had more than 20 days before the next monthly due date.

This behavior was both unethical and unlawful. We repeatedly asked for alternative payment options, and after much pleading, they finally sent a PayPal request—which we paid within seconds. This proved that our cards and banks had no issues.

Unfortunately, the same problem occurred with the next payment, but this time they refused to accept PayPal altogether. Their lack of flexibility and customer empathy forced us to migrate our servers to new vendors.

Server4You demonstrated no basic sense of responsibility toward their customers’ genuine concerns. Their approach was rude, unprofessional, and completely lacking in ethics.

I'm going through the worst possible…

I'm going through the worst possible time with this cursed company. I bought a server, was charged twice for it, and the company is refusing to deliver the service and will not reimburse me. I've already filed complaints with PayPal without receiving a response from the company. I don't recommend this company to anyone; they're a bunch of scammers.

I ordered a server on January 9 and…

I ordered a server on January 9 and received an order confirmation email stating that the server setup would take no more than 24 hours. Three days have already passed, but the server has still not been activated. I cannot submit a support ticket because it requires a contract number (which is created only after the server is activated), and no one has replied to me in the online chat for two days. I am extremely disappointed.

This is by far the best hosting company…

This is by far the best hosting company I've used, and I've been on the internet for almost 30 years, with sites going all the way back.

They are very affordable and offer many VPS and fully dedicated server options with a variety of operating systems and very high-end specs! The servers are unmanaged, though, so be sure you know what you are doing, as you are given *full* control over everything via root console and SFTP.

Their customer service is fantastic, and I get support ticket replies usually in just a few hours.

Overall, I am extremely pleased and am a customer for life!

After four years of average service

After four years of average service, with average support and nothing special, the hardware they provided me broke due to age and outdated status; I had to build a new one using the backups I had. After that, they tried to charge me $39 for support they didn't even provide. Communication was very poor at the time considering the volume of work involved. I would give it 3.5 points; this leaves me with a 1.

It was been twice. Both channel of data was been lost from hold up of payment = two weeks

Server wird gesperrt nach nicht mal 11 Tagen Zahlungsverzug von ca 54€. Zahlungsfristen werden nicht eingehalten. Support sehr oft nicht erreichbar. Bin seid über 10 Jahren Kunde. Habe mehrere Ausfälle im Jahr. Absolut nicht zu empfehlen.

You correctly noted a discrepancy in our previous weekend process. While suspensions were automated, reactivations required manual processing by our billing team during German business hours.

To enhance our service for all customers, we have since updated this system. Server reactivations following a successful payment are now also fully automated, 24/7, including weekends.

I bought a dedicated server from Server4you, the installation took a long time. After the server was ready after hours, I logged in and saw that nothing was working properly. It was constantly freezing. The server's internet speed was even slower than a 56K DialUp Modem connection. I wanted to upload the latest updates to the server, but it took more than an hour to download even a 100 MB file. I could neither update the server nor use it. I wanted to cancel it immediately, but they did not give me a refund and even billed me extra. They tried to charge me twice in 1 day. I contacted customer service, but they were very rude. Look, I lost hundreds of euros from this place and I am still trying to get rid of it because they create new bills when they get bored. It was definitely a terrible experience, once you enter your credit card information, you are really in trouble. If you have a lot of money and time that you want to waste, you can try it yourself.
