I recently had the privilege of participating in an the Psychiatric Service Dog online course that aims to guide pet owners through the intricate process of training your own service dogs. I found that my trainer/teacher, Dani was easily accessible answering even my hardest questions.

Moreover, the focus on specific training for aircraft and crowd control, panic prevention, and obedience in public settings is praiseworthy. I found this section especially helpful. These aspects were pivotal in ensuring that my dog could seamlessly integrate into a variety of environments, providing invaluable support to me while maintaining proper behavior and composure.

The course's attention to detail and the depth of knowledge imparted by accessible trainers is highly commendable. Each task is explained thoroughly, and practical demonstrations are provided to illustrate the training techniques effectively. I spent almost a year training my dog as a PSD with service dog training school. If I ran into issue the tutors were really Helpful with feedback and I really appreciated the spore at which they marked my work and provided feedback. I would highly recommend the course it’s modules are well out together and allow you to embark on a journey that with work and focus will not only deepens your understanding of having a PSD in general but will deepen your relationship with your dog.

I purchased my Double Doodle, Trinity, when she was 3 months old and immediately signed up to self-train her for my personal use. I chose Service Dog Training after reading about the courses online!
Through working/training Trinity to focus on me and follow through with what I’m asking her to do, Trinity and I have developed a very strong, loving bind built on trust and reassurance.
The courses are Very Easy to follow and understand. They are thorough and structured for success!
I am very excited to take more courses and continue Training my Trinity! Trinity is almost 6 months old, wears a harness for riding on my Trike with me, loving the ride and smiling!

A friend of mine told me about this training school, and it seemed too good to be true. I work full-time and have a busy life and have always tried to make time to get my dog properly trained as a service dog, but could never find the time. With this online school, it literally could not have been easier. The first couple of units involved reading and answering questions. The reading was broken down into accessible chunks, and all of the information was very useful. The following units involved taking videos of my dog doing certain commands. It was really exciting for me and my dog. I already knew he was super obedient but it still made me happy every time he did what he was supposed to do I would have to say the best part of the course was my online tutor. The course says that you will get a response within a couple of days for each submitted assignment, but my tutor routinely graded and responded to assignments with feedback within hours. This made it super easy for me to move on, and gave me the positive reinforcement that I needed. Finally, I would say this course was a great bonding experience for me and my dog. We did it together and now I don’t have to worry about anyone questioning me when he is with me because he is an official service dog! I highly recommend this course .

I will say I had doubts. But they were awesome. I have seizures and we just ended the service dog puppy training. It went so well. We will be using them for seizure alert dog training in a few months. I highly recommend.

I thought this program was very thorough and the lessons were easy to follow. The trainers were excellent and gave great feedback. I am very happy that I took this course and feel that I am ready to travel safely and confident with my PSD service dog.

Supported me when I had questions and provided me with all of the information to certify my Yorkie-Poo that travels in my tote bag and goes everywhere from restaurants to parties and many airline flights. Everyone wants my dog! She is very calm and obedient! thank you for helping me to address everyone if there are questions. Once we are in a location; people around us don’t even realize she was there!

Loved the courses. They are straight forward and has useful instructional videos to show you better. The instructors give feedback as well to train your dog better. I would definently go back for more courses.

Thanks to Vincent and the school. It was my first time to have a dog! Excited and nervous...Anyway, I would say there are some skills which are really useful and helpful to train a dog. At least, my dog has made a significant progress after following the guidelines.

The cost maybe a little bit expensive but I still love it because I am told the training and the service dog title (status) is recognized by the US Laws.

My dog has served as a service dog for the past five years, but with the change in FAA regulations I need to prove that he can do the required tasks.

The course is well organized and interesting. The videos of your dog and you completing various skills is helpful and confirming.

My experience with this company was amazing! The online class was very interesting and it kept my attention. I was even allowed to download photos and videos of my dogs success. The test was not difficult at all and I was able to pass my exams in a real decent manner. The tutors also kept close touch with me and offered me a discount for future courses. I elected to to the Flight Training Course and also passed and received my certification. They also asked me to send photos of my dog so that she could Star in the company Instagram Page. I truly recommend this company if anyone wants a ligit Service Dog Training Certificate. I’ve wanted this type of class for years and I praise God that this company has met my dream! I now have a ligitimate Psychiatric Service Dog!!!

I love this school!

It's easy to understand and they are very quick in responding. I love how I can actually train and certify my dog in the comfort of my home with the help of the tutor/trainers. I'm always excited to check the comments and results of each module because it makes me feel that I am on the right track. Now I will be able to bring my dog anywhere and help me when I need him.

This has been an amazing course: hugely informative, stimulating, challenging, and rewarding on many levels. I have personal difficulty with aspects of IT and have had wonderful tutor support to overcome these problems. I have learnt so much in domains I had not anticipated.
The course has stimulated me to read widely about behavioural learning theory and its invaluable application to dog training. It has also prompted me to read extensively on the importance of canine nutrition and how very misleading is the received view of canine deity requirement in relation to canine mortality and obesity.
Although I knew a bit about different dog breeds, I had not appreciated the extent to which their genetic traits (as groups) predominate and how harnessing those traits is so necessary in general and can be so beneficial for certain service dog requirements. In relation to this last, the importance of ‘matching’ the service dog breed to the needs of its human. I have learned how to break down what can at times seem almost impossible challenges for a service dog to master, into behavioural ‘bits’, and how joining/associating the ‘bits’ builds to the end-product (that needs to be maintained by intermittent reinforcement and handler self-checks to ensure complacency does not set in).
It has been fascinating to understand how ‘problem dog behaviours’ are often being reinforced unwittingly by dog humans by premature reinforcement and reinforcement of ‘not quite’ the behaviour that is required. The helpfulness of clicker training to mark desired behaviours precisely as they occur has been brilliantly explained and I have used a clicker for Poppy with very good results.
I am proud of my service dog, and have achieved far more than I hoped in building confidence in training her. She has become my support and comfort, essential for activities of daily living with a disability that until her presence has had a hugely adverse impact on my life. I feel I can look forward to being more confident and able to cope when I am in situations that overwhelm me. I am so grateful for having the privilege to discover this course and through it, to have been provided with the understanding and skills that are essential for being a service dog handler and for training my incredible service dog. Thank you so very much.

Easy, straightforward, helpful. Everything about this school is well thought out and easy to follow. Their website functions great too; no trouble. And now my dog is registered as a service dog and can accompany me on my next air travel!
