I had a negative experience with SGT Auto Transport. My vehicle was delivered with damage that was not present at pickup, and the documentation supports that it occurred during transport.
They do not have cargo insurance! Nor did the driver they hired!

This was my 4th time using SGT Auto Transport for moving my car. I have lived in different states for the past 3 years and they made the move very smooth and convenient. Highly recommended.

Driver was very professional

Signed contract for pickup of car for transport on a specific date, after that no communication from SGT. Evening prior pickup chat conversation with AI told me they were working on finding a carrier. Morning of pickup date I received text they were working on finding a carrier. 11am that day I received text they had a carrier but needed to call to discuss "options". Unfortunately was on hold forever waiting on line with the phone number provided. I finally canceled order, since I only had someone available to help with pickup that day, and was charged $199 per the contract for canceling. Order #34AWUU3.

There response was they reached out to multiple times to discuss my review, I had only one email with a phone number on which I again waited interminably, before I gave up. I did not complain about them charging me a fee, it was in the contract. My complaint is poor communicsation and unreliability.

SGT Auto Transport is quick to get you to sign an agreement to use their brokerage, unlike many other car transporters. They will want you to pay for their services up-front, too, again, unlike other brokerages. Donʻt fall for it. In my case, I attempted to "validate" their agreement by giving them my payment information, but their website malfunctioned and wouldnʻt complete the transaction - or at least thatʻs what the website said. SGT Auto Transport told me that they would not move ahead with getting me a car transporter until my agreement was validated. They did nothing. I needed to move ahead, so I contacted other brokerages, who worked wonders and got my car transport arranged. I informed SGT of this as a courtesy, and promptly was slapped with a $199 cancellation fee. I asked for a refund, but they refused.

As an update to the above based on Stefanoʻs response to my initial review, I have worked with reputable car transport companies, and they have successfully and in good faith worked with me. Not so with SGT. SGTʻs broken website refused to accept my valid credit card to complete their "agreement" that they indicated had to be "validated" by credit card to be operational. In other words, there was no mutual agreement. SGT didnʻt move forward with anything - no effort to find a car transport and no effort to call me back in a timely fashion.

SGTʻs history shows that it has not and will not acknowledge customer concerns and will stonewall and justify itself and its charges. SGTʻs statement that they are out $199 administratively has no credence. It is self-serving. Keep in mind that no other car transport company in my experience acts like SGT has. All the other companies are reasonable and not out to extract a hefty fee enforcing some web-verbiage that they themselves indicated repeatedly was not binding because it hadnʻt been validated.

After dealing with another company that tried the old bait-and-switch with a lowball quote that kept climbing, working with SGT was a breath of fresh air.

I booked a vehicle transport from Phoenix to Stillwater, Minnesota over the weekend. They said pickup would happen within 1 to 3 business days. It was picked up on Monday. They said delivery would happen within 3 days of pickup. It arrived on Thursday. No drama. No nonsense. No surprise price games.

The driver was friendly, professional, and made my wife feel comfortable during pickup, which mattered because this was her first time going through the process. On the delivery end, he brought the vehicle right up to the garage in Stillwater without any issues.

Bottom line: they did what they said they would do. They honored the quote, hit the timeline, communicated clearly, and made the whole process easy.

That alone is worth 5 stars these days.

Setup process was easy and straightforward. Follow up by the office team and driver was very good. All of my questions were answered in a timely manner. Price was very reasonable for 2 vehicles in an enclosed trailer MN-FL transport.

SGT is very good at communicating every step of the way. They do not leave you until you have your car or it is picked up. They use excellent companies- I have never had a problem with any drivers. I have used SGT for over three years and will call again next December.

I was very happy with SGT Auto Transport and the carrier, Spark Logistics (driver Maks), who SGT chose to move my car from California to Oregon. Parker at SGT answered all of my questions and made me feel confident in my choice of SGT. In addition, the SGT price quote was reasonable, did not change, and the timing of the move was faster than any other companies offered. The only issue I had was that SGT's paperwork and Parker said there were many ways to pay the driver at drop-off (cert check, money order, Venmo, etc.) but the driver only offered two options, Zelle and/or cash. And you must be very flexible with the pick-up and drop-off times as they can move throughout the day(s). In fact, our car was delivered a day earlier than expected!!! I will certainly recommend SGT to my friends. Sadly, I have seen bad reviews for SGT, but I can honestly say that was not my experience at all. In fact, I was pleasantly surprised with how well everything went considering every transport company I researched seemed to have a number of bad reviews which caused me to expect something bad to happen in my situation. So, the fact that my transport experience was so much better than expected made it all extra wonderful.

This is my third time using SGT auto transport. The shipping was done super fast. I placed the order late in the afternoon and they were here to pick up the next day and delivered the vehicle the following day. Always a very smooth easy process. Will definitely use them every time.

The driver was very friendly and easy to communicate with, which made the whole process feel smooth and stress-free. My car was delivered surprisingly fast (just 3 days) which really exceeded my expectations. I also appreciated the frequent updates along the way, so I always knew what was going on. They were reliable, flexible with both pickup and delivery, and very cooperative throughout. I’d definitely recommend them to anyone needing car transport.

The timeliness I got my car within 5 days.

We delivered last car for this broker like 3 months ago and they do not want to pay us and gave a negative review to the company only because accounting team told them we will file a claim under their bond for non payment.
Customers, don’t sign any contracts with them because they are scammers, they lie all the customers about the price and by the end you paying more then you was told!

My driver is the only reason I’m giving 5 stars he kept me updated went about and beyond with are whole experience kept us informed of where he was at we would call dispatch and would get no feedback they told us the wrong date twice had to spend an extra $300 on are flights to change them paid an extra $50 on the app to get informed with updates never got them . My driver what the best I wish there were more ppl like him
