came here for a 2 month project and honestly didnt want to leave. the place feels like home. fully furnished, good quality bed, and the kitchen has all the appliances. the best part is the all-inclusive concept, no hidden fees, I just pay one amount and everything is covered.

The shared spaces are always clean, which is important to me. The location in NYC is super convenient, close to everything. The other tenants are respectful and friendly. I feel safe here and the management is always available if you need them. Great value for money.

So the place is nice and the furniture is good. But the walls are a bit thin, I could hear my neighbor talking on the phone sometimes. Also the AC in my room was a little loud. But for NYC and the price , its okay. The community events are fun, I met some cool people at the game night.

i moved here from california and was looking for a place that was not just a room but a community. this place has both. the regular events like movie nights and dinners are great for meeting new people. facilities are clean and well maintained.

Almost rented a room from Facebook Marketplace before finding this and honestly glad I didn’t. At least here there was an actual support team and real check in process.

Renting normally in New York is honestly exhausting. Brokers, paperwork, buying furniture, utility setup… I didn’t want to deal with any of that while relocating for work. SharedEasy felt more like a middle ground between an apartment and student housing. I stayed at the Meserole Williamsburg location for almost three months. The area had coffee shops, grocery stores and a laundromat all within walking distance. Commute into Manhattan was around 25 minutes for me depending on trains. My room was small but functional. Bed, desk, closet, AC unit. Nothing fancy but enough to live comfortably. One thing I appreciated was that people mostly respected quiet hours. I expected constant chaos from shared housing but it was calmer than some normal roommate apartments I’ve had before. There were occasional little things, like somebody leaving dishes overnight or taking too much fridge space, but that’s just shared living honestly.

If you expect luxury hotel vibes this is probably not it. But for NYC prices it made sense. I stayed at Bernard Brooklyn Home and mostly cared about having a furnished room, decent wifi and easy commute to Midtown. All of that was fine. One shower had weak pressure for few days but they fixed it pretty quick.

I only needed a room for 5 weeks between leases and this worked out better than signing another apartment contract. Laundry in building, subway close, internet stable enough for Zoom calls.

Stayed around 2 months in Ridgewood Home. Area felt safer than i expected and there was a deli basically next door which saved me many late nights after work. Kitchen got crowded after 8pm sometimes and one roommate kept cooking at midnight lol. Other than that pretty comfortable place.

Was nervous after seeing people online saying coliving places are scams or impossible to leave from. My stay was fine. Deposit came back normally and nobody tried to charge random fees after move out.

Check in instructions were clear and I got into the room without waiting around with luggage for hours. The desk setup in the room helped a lot because I was working remote some days too.

Good location close to the train. Walls a little thin at night but honestly that’s just NYC.

Kitchen space was smaller than I expected for the amount of residents, but people were respectful most of the time so it worked out okay.

I’ve rented apartments in NYC before and this was honestly much less annoying. No broker, no giant paperwork process, no buying tables/chairs from Facebook Marketplace. I stayed in the Manhattan Central Park Home while doing freelance work and liked having a desk already in the room. The coworking access was actually useful too, thought it would be some fake perk but I used it a lot. Met people from Brazil, Germany and Korea during my stay which made the city feel less isolating.

The Ridgewood house was nice overall. Quiet room, decent mattress, laundry in the building. Only thing is one of the showers had low pressure for a few days but maintenance fixed it pretty quick after we texted support.

I came from Madrid for a summer program and didnt want to deal with brokers fees and furniture shopping. SharedEasy saved me from all that headache. The apartment wasn’t luxury or anything unrealistic, but it was clean, furnished and comfortable enough to actually focus on work. Also liked that utilities were already included because I hate calculating bills with roommates.
