Second hand HP but good as new
Bought a second hand mobile phone from CompAsia and it was delivered promptly and well packed. Item was as good as new and the courier contacted me when they were dropping off the parcel. Overall, the whole experience was good and legit.

I paid a lot of money for an iphone to compasia and I waited weeks while they said it was being shipped. Now I find out three weeks later that was shipped toan entirely different city that I live in!
The response to me? They will let me know when they get feedback from the courier. All right. I DIDNT PAY THE COURIER I PAID THE COMPANY!

Avoid at all costs – refund nightmare until I involved the bank
I had one of the worst e-commerce experiences I’ve ever encountered with CompAsia.
I requested a refund before the item was even shipped, which should have been straightforward. Instead, I was met with slow replies, copy-paste responses, and constant resistance, despite the request being well within a reasonable window.
What really raised red flags:
No urgency or ownership from customer support
Repeatedly quoting T&Cs instead of actually helping
Inconsistent information depending on who replied
A promised refund timeline of 1–3 working days after device collection, which was not honoured
Only after I initiated a bank chargeback did their tone suddenly change and they finally started cooperating. That alone says a lot.
The device was returned sealed and untouched, fully documented, yet I still had to chase endlessly and involve my bank just to get my money back. A refund should not require this level of effort.
If you’re buying from CompAsia, be prepared:
If anything goes wrong, expect delays
If you need a refund, expect resistance
If you don’t push hard (or involve your bank), don’t expect results
I strongly recommend buying elsewhere unless you’re willing to risk weeks of stress and follow-ups for something that should have been simple.
Extremely disappointing experience.
