I place an order on Shopee.vn, paid priority, and when I tried to see why it didnt come on time, you CAN'T, have to download ap! The order didnt come, and have no idea what happened to it. But I know Im not using shopee any more

I was there for over 6 months and spent a lot of time buying Vietnamese currency on this platform. Worst shopping experience ever, not like AMAZON, and will never catch up like AMAZON.
Shopee.VN, when you buy it on there, your money's long gone, can't return, and there's no refund. This experience was bad enough that I felt compelled to share it.

Purchasing items on Shopee is easy and convenient, but returning them is extremely difficult. The product was clearly counterfeit, and the Government was not strong enough to keep track of and stop it; they allowed it to go unchecked.

Even though I followed all the required steps, I recorded myself opening the package and took photos of the items with everything still attached (including the tags), but I still didn't receive a refund. Shopee either keeps it or those guys GRAP delivery, they grab it or keep it for themself mean steal.
In this platform, all I can say is all three: CROOK, CHEAT, SCAM, you name it.
becafefull everywhere you go if you're a tourist in Vietnam, prices jump to triple instead the regular price.

I contacted customer service multiple times immediately after receiving the order, but it was hard to get through at first, and my return request was declined without explanation.
On top of that, it is nearly impossible to reach anyone for help due todue to RUDE, unprofessional behavior.

Avoid Shopee and use other platforms or any other platform in VN instead of buying face-to-face for safety.

I was about to pay for my Nespresso capsules. It was done, only the payment, but twice it disappeared. Still can't order the capsules. What the hell?!

Totally useless... Customer service just put you into a never ending circle when trying to fix issues with their sales platform... Lazada will be my got to from now on

Worst shopping experience ever.. when you pay for stuff COD they return your money into your shopee wallet.. but you need a vietnamese ID card to activate the wallet.. so the money is gone and 80% of the goods are nothing like the description or its fake even though they claim it to be genuine and original..

Bought bed bug spray. It was not the same. It was all in Chinese, unlike the ad photo. It was total garbage. It did not work once, twice or the third time. Sprayed the whole bottle. Still got bitten. It was probably just sterile water with a few drop of some unknown oil. TOTAL Scam!!!

Shopee ignores buyers — wrong item sent twice, no protection

I ordered hydrogel wound dressings on Shopee because my child had a burn injury and I could not find this product in local pharmacies. It was not about the money but about the urgent need for the correct item.

Instead, the seller twice sent me a tube of cream:

Order 2509118NQDCD8W — I ordered hydrogel patches, but received cream. Shopee accused me of fraud and denied a refund.

To prove my honesty, I placed another order (250915JFYA4XS8) and opened it in front of the courier as a witness. Once again, I received cream instead of the product I urgently needed.
Shopee’s official response was contradictory: they confirmed the seller sent the wrong product, but still declared my complaint “invalid” and refused to refund me. They closed the case without real investigation, ignored my evidence, and failed to hold the seller accountable.

This situation is unacceptable. Shopee left me without the medical product I needed for my child and without proper buyer protection. A marketplace that ignores clear evidence and repeatedly sides with dishonest sellers cannot be trusted.

Unless Shopee changes its dispute-handling system and enforces strict control over sellers, I strongly advise others to be careful when relying on this platform.

Shopee completely locked me out of my account when I did nothing wrong. I was trying to buy a mobile phone and I got locked out. I got back to customer service and asked them to reopen it. They said they couldn't as I had violated the shopee policies. These people need to get their facts right before they ban their customers from using shopee Disgusting customer service!

It's really bad customer service and seller, whom don't except to return anything. I don't recommend this app to anyone. Keep far away from it.

Shopee is one of the most popular online places to buy smth in Vietnam. As a foreigner without a local bank card, you can only pay by "cash at delivery", however if you need to return a product they'll refund you on a wallet that you are NOT allowed to use to purchase other items. It results in money stuck on your account, with no option to withdraw.

Many stores sell counterfeit or non-conform products and the platform does not take any action against them, even when the seller's behavior is proved.

Shopee delivery guys (SPX) are not reliable and miss delivery schedule most of the time. They also often falsely claim they showed up to cover their flakiness.

Overall, Shopee does not provide a very good service but they are still doing well in Vietnam because there is not much competition. Let's hope they will improve.

Shopee is one of, if not, the most popular shopping platform in Vietnam. While they do have quite good customer service, there are still some issues that needs improvement:
1. The authenticity of a product: despite the authenticity guarantee of the verified sellers, there are some sellers that still sell fake products. The only guarantee they make is money-back guarantee.
2. Banning users: Shopee is famous for its subsidy through vouchers, they do ban people if the customers somehow profits from the platform's bugs/errors (which is their fault, btw and the customers may not or cannot know if that was an error) stating preach of policy but never exactly tell you the detailed reason for banning. And it's so hard to make another account because you need phone no. to register on shopee.

I recently haved visited this online shopping site… they've got a huge selection of products at prices that don't break the bank. :0
What I love most is their super fast delivery—my orders always arrive before I expect them! Plus, they have some great promotions that make shopping even more fun.
Highly recommend giving it a try. Five stars all the way!

Shopee was really bad in service. They held my electronics items (without being able to return or refund) for 10 days now and I will never buy any such items from that app. And now i cannot contact the provider for the insurance as well. So badddd

My order was held in the warehouse for 3 days without delivery. They are too disrespectful to customers

customer support is non existent and useless

The ordering interface is in English, but as soon as you return something, all informations including costumer support are only in Vietnamese. I have been in contact with the customer service for over a month now and I still haven't received my money back. It feels like fraud! Never again!

Constantly deliveries have missing items, They then refund to Shopee Wallet, which as a foreigner you cannot access without a Vietnamese Bank Account, SCAM
I recommend Pay COD and open before paying
If incomplete send back, via the delivery service that brought it. DO NOT PAY.
