Game stick pro did not work and have been chasing a refund since December 2025, its April 2026 now and get a generic response from Alice and Andrew. I sent proof and they acknowledged fault but have not processed a refund. This is the lstest email I got:

Christmas Gift Nightmare
I purchased the MovieHub Projector plus FREE movie screen as advertised in Nov 2025. After a month it finally arrived but without the screen. I asked an IT technician friend to set it up and he remarked that it was “rubbish” and so pixelated he couldn’t get a picture. Very blurry and it could not be remedied. I tried online chat and emails but after two emails back stating that I was not eligible for a free screen—even the phone number listed on Afterpay doesn’t work. So there has been no correspondence whatsoever. It’s now March 2026.
Afterpay are aware the phone number didn’t work plus they do not have an address for this merchant?!! CRAZY! Afterpay only helped by delaying my payment but otherwise—pretty useless. Moviehub’s website also shows “Trustpilot score as 4.5/5 stars.” That ain’t right!
At this stage all I want is an address to which I can return the item for refund. Looks like that’s not happening. Probably cut my losses. DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM MOVIEHUB. Crook shonky outfit.

Avoid at all costs - this company is not contactable by phone and only sends auto email responses - they offer free 30 day returns no questions but fail to give details on how so you can get refund , no detailed instructions on usuage and projecter incompatible, stick graphics are poor when compared to original platforms still in use on original systems and a lot of games repeated

I just hope people read these reviews before also getting scammed and purchasing a product that does not operate as described AND is a potential fire hazard. Their on shop reviews are self produced using an app from Shopify whereby a merchant can upload fake reviews to increase trust for the shop. They are not the only shop that uses programs such as YoTpo or Loox. Shopify claim they have Terms and Conditions in place, which they do, however my opinion is while a merchant makes good money, Shopify also make some money, therefore incentive for Shopify to close a store making money is not high on their list.
I’m giving up reporting and chasing a refund, been doing it since 22/12. I believe karma will step in at some point.

I would rate 1 start if I could. They take your money but offer a 30 day refund. I changed my mind after 5 minutes of purchase after reading their trust pilot reviews and they ignored my email and still sent the product. This in itself says a scam business. I then had to return the product at my own expense and they refuse to give me a refund. Stay away from these guys at ALL costs. Not worth the hassle.

The product/service did not meet expectations and I requested a refund in line with their stated processes.
MovieHub avoided providing a clear resolution and did not follow through on their own refund procedures.
Communication was slow, unclear, and unprofessional, with repeated delays rather than answers.
Despite multiple attempts to resolve the issue directly, no refund was provided.
I escalated the matter through Afterpay, but the dispute process ultimately supported the merchant, leaving the issue unresolved from my side.
Overall, the experience was stressful, time-consuming, and disappointing. Based on how refunds and disputes were handled, I would not recommend purchasing from MovieHub, especially if you value clear communication and fair after-sales support.

Around this time last year with the intent of giving nephews a gift when visiting them, I ordered the game stick pack. After a bit of online detective work, I was told that it would be delivered within the week. I waited and waited. Never arrived, after emailing back and forth apparently it was delivered as I asked for proof, It appears that the person who delivered had stolen it. I let them know it was a gift for my nephew who was disappointed that I couldn't give him it. Will not use ever again as they initally denied knowing anything, it was only when I pushed them and mentioned going to the media they did something.
I ended up getting one very similar from Amazon, and yes it was delivered, and works, Moviehub can get stuffed, bunch of scammers

Projector is great, HOWEVER, when I purchased my order it stated that a projector screen was included in my purchase but when my order arrived there was no projector screen that was inside it. When I contacted customer service, there was apparently a technical difficulty on the website where it should have never been stated a projector screen was included which in my opinion is a shame as I believe I wasn't the only person this happened to as I ordered during their Black Friday sale. It is a shame because the projector is great, but this "technical difficulty" has put a real downside to this otherwise great purchase.
