DAMAGED PRODUCT SUPPLIED
This is the extracts of my review on 30/04/2024 :
I have ordered home security wifi camera for which I received a defective camera. I contacted shop the world and they instructed me to return the product and assured on receipt of the returned product they will give cash back of Rs.100/-. Even after the product returned I have not received the cash back amount. There is no any communication from the company even after three weeks have passed after returning the product. Two days back I have received a whatsapp message that the product was delivered to me. But I have not received any delivery. I contacted the shop the world person and asked them the proof that I have taken the delivery. He told me that my order has been cancelled and refund made to my account. There is a question that whether they are sending the product without any quality check? I presume that they are playing only an intermediary role and purchasing the product at a lower price and selling the product at a higher price. Anyway I lost my time and money and I decided to buy the same product from Amazon, flipkart etc. where I can get the product cheaper rate.

In my reply the vendor claimed that I gave false messages against Shop the World. But they are silent regarding non-payment of courier charge incurred by me for returning the product. I have proof that they promised to pay Rs.100/- as courier charges. They are giving misleading messages to the public. I have made payment for the product on 27/02/2024 and the amount blocked till 29/04/24 the date of refund. They are silent on Inordinate delay and held the amount for two months and finally refunded, that too with a loss of time and money to me. If they again claim that I am spreading false messages the matter will be brought to consumer court.

Lazy staff
I think this site is somewhat lethargic in responding to the customers, I was searching for a branded sub woofer and found one interesting, but the details about the product were not given completely. So I was trying to enquire with Prasad but of no use.

Absolutely disappointed
Absolutely disappointed. First they sent a dead battery. Then after complaint Mr Prasad asked to return the item at my cost. I did that. Now even after repeated reminders the neither replacement nor refund has come. They dont respond to then messages without repeated follow up. On phone just blank assurances. Pathetic experience.
