If you put 2 texts at once on screen shotcut wont be able to handle that, the most laggy program ever, also there are so many bugs that make no sense for example music that I added to my project literally disappeared at one point when launching, or other times clips that I add wont show and I need to remove them and readd.

Es muy amigable con el usuario, la interfaz es muy limpia; la curva de aprendizaje puede variar según usted logre familiarizarse y experimentar con los filtros.
Al final guardas todos tus ajustes(conjuntos de filtros), sin temor a que hayan problemas de compatibilidad con nuevas versiones.

Después de un año, aprendí a manejar más rápido; cosas como el canal alfa y las máscaras. Algo más complicado de manipular con Krita o Gimp.

Hasta para crear infografías, puede ser una opción muy práctica.
También permite crear galerías de imágenes de forma automática.

In letzter Zeit ist Shotcut mehr als langsam und hängt sich permanent auf. Auch werden Projekte gar nicht oder nicht richtig gespeichert!
Und nein, es ist nicht die Freeware....

I used this to edit an old family movie. ShotCut allowed me to move around sections that were in the wrong time order, to insert title slides into the movie to say what the next section was about, and to brighten a section of the movie that was badly underexposed.
I couldn't be bothered to read the ShotCut documentation, but ChatGPT told me how to do the above things, so it was quite easy.
I recommend ShotCut. Much better than some alternative movie editing apps I tried.

Für eine angebliche Freeware ist die Beschränkung der Videos auf 60 Sekunden in meinen Augen nur Eines: Betrug. Von daher keine Empfehlung von mir.

Naja an sich ganz gut, besonders weil es kostenlos ist aber teilweise speichern Projekte nicht und dann ist alles weg, was sehr schade ist und teilweise einem echt die Nerven raubt

What can I say? Best free editor - hands down! And I honestly don't understand people arguing about it - yes it takes its time to render and the UI is quite minimalistic, but other than that - it's wonderful! I wish the team all the best and thank them for their work!

I have tried several video editors over the last week, and thankfully I finally came across Shotcut as it have been an easier learning curve than all the more popular editors and the best bit, it is totally free. Thank you so much for providing this.

Good for a free app but does lack a lot of the functionality of the paid for programs. Can't complain but there are multiple features missing if you want to edit videos without stress.

I mean its free. But they way it lag, just ad the edeting time by 2-3 times. Would not recommend for other than editing very short videos, without to much effekt. The program just crashed.

Sooo this program is a thing

I mean it's a FREE software that edits your videos, and that's pretty awesome, no watermark and some features are pretty dope

but here's my two main issues with this program:

random crashes, even If you wanna do something as simple as reversing a 5 minute video it crashes

loss of quality when exporting, it doesn't make sense that a video losses it's quality for no reason

For example, exporting a mp4 72MB video after editing nothing makes the video mp4 27MB and blurry.
(side note, I know about the"lossless" quality video types, but thanks I don't want my 50MB video becoming almost a 1GB)

other than that it's a pretty good program if you want to export & upload videos in of paint drying!

REALLY BAD WEBSITE
I SPENT OVER 4 HOURS EDITING A VIDEO, AND WHEN I PUT SOMETHING IN SLOWMOTION, SHOTCUT JUST CLOSED DOWN AND DIDNT SAVE MY 4 HOURS OF WORK FOR THE SECOND TIME THIS DAY! YES IT ALSO HAPPEND EARLIER AND NOW IT HAPPEND AGAIN! BAD EDITING SOFTWARE AND LOTS OF BUGS! I WILL NEVER USE THIS EDITING SOFTWARE AGAIN!

This is free, and the people behind it deserve a lot of credit for their efforts and ideology. There are a lot of effects and features in the program... but unfortunately they don't work properly if you start using multiple effects - this is when the bugs start to come out. So, if you want to do a fairly simple video with just a few edits and effects, then this is a great option, but if you want to do anything more complicated, with multiple effects on each clip, then this will leave you disappointed and frustrated

It's free, has no watermarks and supports the most recent video standards. For free video-editing software this is definitely recommended by me. I'm really satisfied.

I would love this if it would be usable. Unfortunately it is so damn frustrating because of random crashes that it just not worth the effort. Interestingly most reviews are great about this piece of garbage which leads me to the conclusion that those reviewers never actually used this apart from a quick test.

I gave several shots (!) with this, but what is enough is enough. Shotcut is now deleted and I will look somewhere else.

Crashing randomly so spectacularly that you have to restart the computer. Just to find out that hours of your work has been lost even with saving every other minute.

The intentions are good and it has a good selection of functions. It would be a decent basic editor. Sadly only it would, but it is not.
