Brilliant service by the chaps
Tom & Dave (SORRY IF WRONG NAME) They went the extra mile and then did another mile. There was issues with the pipes etc but they stayed to 9pm to sort it out. Proper scousers one red and one a blue. Brilliant service by them both. Thank you thank you !

After having numerous things go wrong during the installation of the boiler and being told if they was to fix this their boss would make them pay for it out of their own pocket silly us felt sorry for them and didn’t report.
A year later we had an issue with our boiler so called the manufacturer in to fix which they did straight away and unfortunately due to an error from simple heating we was issued with a Warning notice - do not use.
After numerous phone calls from January and being told ‘it’s not actually that serious’ we’re still not further forward with them coming back to fix the error. They keep saying I’ll receive a phone call back or someone will be with us next week. Never a phone phone never has anyone turned up.
I do not recommend using this company. Maybe after seeing this I will get that phone call.
Not a professional business
After reviewing different boiler companies we decided to go with a local company based on the trust pilot reviews as they seemed good. On the 16th November 2022 I requested a quote, to which Sh***on arranged for somebody to call me. I received a phone call the same day and a day was set up for inspection on Tuesday 22nd at 10am. Prior to the installation, Go**on (Supervisor) attended our home (on Tuesday 22nd November 2022 just after 10am) to make checks and inform us on when the works would be completed and the price of the installation. At this point there was no mention of an electrician having to attend. The visit lasted no longer than 5-10 minutes, G**don checked the old boiler which was located underneath the stairs downstairs in the kitchen area and took a picture, he then went upstairs and looked in the airing cupboard where the cylinder is located as our old boiler was a standard boiler that had a water tank located in the loft.
However, G**don did not check the water tank in the loft, he then said he was going back to the office to do some calculations of the work and get back to us with a price & date of installation. G**don informed me that the installation would only take 1 day which was perfect as I didn’t need to book time off work during the black Friday weekend.
Friday 25th we agreed on the installation as I was off work this day and work was scheduled to start at 8am. However, nobody arrived at 8am, I called G**don and he chased up the whereabouts of the engineer, who than arrived shortly after 9am. Later that day I was getting updates from my partner who informed me that the works weren’t going to be completed within the day. I called G**don at 16:49 (while I’m still working) to find out why the work wasn’t going to be completed as I was told it would be done in 1 day. G**don wasn’t 100% sure and called the engineer, he called me back at 17:02 to say there was something with the pipes, but this wasn’t what the engineer informed my partner about.
Around 7pm An*rew said he needed to come back Saturday morning (26th November) to finish off the works. However, I was scheduled in work and so was my partner and my partner works at home which wasn’t ideal plus I couldn’t get a dog minder which meant the dog would be at home during the works. An*drew said it wouldn’t take any longer than a couple of hours and would be done in the morning, we agreed as we needed it finishing asap so my partner spoke with his manager to adjust his workload just for the morning which isn’t ideal as this obviously impacted his working day which meant his manager then had to do adjustments and it interferes with his work. We was left without any hot water and no heating, which meant we couldn’t get a shower or heat the house while it was freezing.
On Saturday 26th An*rew engineer arrived at 8:30am and continued to finish the work. This work didn’t take a couple of hours it ended up taking up another day approx 7hrs longer than stated. He also informed my partner that we now needed an electrician to come out to install a plug socket for the boiler to be plugged into. This was not communicated from G**don or from the company. Nor was it mentioned in the letter we got of what was going to be completed.
Monday 28th November I received a phone call from Simple heating, this wasn’t G**don or Sh**non. This was a different person who hasn’t been dealing with this situation. I explained what has gone on and alls I was receiving back was excuses, the gentleman was arrogant and in somewhat pushing for an argument as apposing to resolve my issue, he was wanting 75% payment by 5pm today when informed him the work wasn’t complete and I wasn’t satisfied.
We went over a the same thing and I then requested to only speak to G**don to which the man I was on the phone to said “why” I explained I didn’t find him professional and he then reiterated the 75% down payment today not taking on board everything that was just mentioned and the fact am not happy with the service after I said I will only be speaking with G**don I said bye and he hung up the phone. He had no customer service skills, no communication skills and certainly didn’t know how to deal with a dissatisfied customer.
Since then, I have called up several times with records of each time as the engineer Andrew has left a hole in my wall at the bottom of my stairs where my old thermostat used to be and just put the new thermostat sat over it as if I wouldn’t of checked. Last phone call I received was on 18.01.23 by a Manchester Number from a guy called Mike who was going to get someone out to sort it and I am still waiting to hear back.
I am all for supporting local businesses but after the experience I have had with this company I will not be using them again or recommending. This is still ongoing.

Hi,I had mick and tim installing first time central heating the full works with a boiler and radiators completed on the 8-June 2022 there work is absolutely faultless very clean and tidy pipework and radiators nice and level amazing work from these two brothers.They are very hard working hardly stop for any breaks I felt very comfortable having these great men working in my house it felt like I had know them for years so easy to get along with these guys and there company is so luckly to have these men working for there company as it would be a great loss to lose them! After all the work was completed they explain how to control the boiler/heating before they left and they even removed a valve off a gas pipe and capped it off for me which was unrelated to there work and fixed a floor board for me while they were lifting the other floor boards and I am very grateful.I strongly recommend these two brothers to carry out any of your plumbing work great guys!

Just wanted to share my experience from simple, From making our enquiry Emma took care of everything, she was very helpful and professional, and also the engineers too. what a credit Mike and Tim are too. From start to finish they were professional, friendly and efficient throughout the process. Usually when there's workmen at home it can be quite awkward around my family however they made me feel very comfortable and were very interactive with my children. They got on really well and I was happy to see that. Also Mike and Tim were very polite and respectful towards me. A great asset to your company and fantastic workmanship.

My Worcester Greenstar Combi boiler was installed by Paul Priest on the 3rd May 2022.
The work was carried out in an organised Professional way by Paul who I would recommend to anybody. The electrician Tommy was also organised with his work for the hive unit etc.
How to install a boiler.
The installation from start to finish was done in a professional way from the initial quote to the installation by Paul Priest went very smoothly. Paul did an excellent job and was happy to explain the nuances of operating the new Worcester Bosch Greenstar 4000. He also made it easy for Tommy the electrician to complete his task. I was also impressed by Simple Heating and their agent Jessica,who kept in regular touch both before and after completion.
Vaillant boiler replaced an ageing and inefficient Potterton Suprima.
New Vaillant boiler purchased through British gas and installed by John Riley of Simple Heating Services. The Vaillant boiler replaced an ageing and inefficient Potterton Suprima. The installation from start to finish was hassle free and completed by a friendly engineer who was both experienced and gave genuine high quality workmanship. I am very happy with the installation and a nice clean and tidy Job.
