Waiting on a refund since Covid cancelled flight in 2020. Despite Skidoo being wholly owned by Helloworld I still have no refund and little or no response to my multiple emails. To ad insult to injury LATAM have confirmed that fares were refunded to Skidoo/Helloworld in 2023.

WARNING! Do not book through Skiddoo. Worst holiday booking company.

After our holiday was cancelled due to COVID I was promised a refund in 2-4 months. After this time elapsed, I needed to follow them up to ask again where my refund is to which they replied it may be another 12 months! I have since left multiple follow ups and not one response. Shocking service from a shocking company. Do not book through Skiddoo!

Most unethical and cheater travel agent.. beware

I have booked the flight with them in June 2019 for SYD to Rome and return. Their website was dodgy and never mentioned it has two stop overs and hence i need a transit visa.
They confirmed the same to me over email too, I received the boarding pass at Syd and then denied the boarding at the gate. Airline team confirmed that they have fully refunded my fare as they also share the mistake along with Skiddoo but Skiddoo never refunded anything back to me.
At fair trading also they won the case because they presented an eticket (different than what they sent to me) which states that the flight has two stop overs in china. I'm a frequent traveler and never seen company like this who takes the refund from airline and never pass it to the customer even though it is their mistake which costed me double the actual fare for the flight I booked for another airline.

Skiddo have stolen my money, they refuse to pay it back.

My flight was cancelled over a year ago

I payed skyscanner for a flight, my bank statement:

05/09/2019 VISA DEBIT PURCHASE SKIDDOO WWW AU $740.35

I made no payment to Thai airways. I was told I would receive a full refund. - Refund processing time is between 8 - 15 business weeks. Its been over a year, when am i going to receive refund?

SKIDDOO Scam ?…

I have tried in the last year many times to contact SKIDDOO for a $ 4,500 .66 refund. Singapore Airlines paid back the full refund to SKIDDOO. about three month ago. SKIDDOO when contacted, comes back with the same generic letter, that they are very busy at this time.........? I'm still waiting for my money !

Ignoring the Customer is their Service

It has been almost 1 year since I have been trying to contact skiddoo about my flight that got cancelled due to covid, and they refuse to reply to my inquiry. I try to be patient but not having heard from them during a crisis and when they owe me a return flight or AUD $ 2K + is impressive.
I honestly have never experienced such poor customer service.

Hallelujah! Refund at Last!

We have been trying to get our $4,000 for cancelled flights to the UK refunded for the last 6 months, with empty promises and then numerous unanswered emails from Skidoo we had given up hope. 3 weeks ago I contacted the Department of Fair Trading and sent them copies of all the emails I had saved (thankfully) and in less than 2 weeks they called me to say that they had spoken to their contact at Skidoo, who advised them they would contact me to get my bank details for a refund, as I had paid using PayPal. I told the Department of Fair Trading that I had emailed my bank details to Skidoo on the 6th of June and after that they stopped answering my emails. The Department of Fair Trading representative advised me to forward her that email and she would call Skidoo again. Today, 3 weeks after initially contacting the Department of Fair Trading WE HAVE BEEN REFUNDED OUR MONEY. What a relief. I am urging anyone who is still trying to get a refund to contact the Department of Fair Trading ASAP. Don't give up hope and good luck.

Skiddoo Pty Ltd is a wholly owned entity of Helloworld Travel Limited. This is on Skiddoo website under privacy link. I believe we should reach out to this organization for our refund or lets get united and go legal with this one to set an example.

FASTEST WAY TO GET SKIDDOO REFUND

Like all of you, I requested a refund from Skiddoo and was told it would take 8 – 15 business weeks to process due to “high volume of cancellations.” One thing we all know for sure – it didn’t take them that long to get the money back from the airline which, in my case, was Singapore Airlines. And, yes, like all the rest of you, the money never came (even after the supposed maximum 15 business weeks). And, yes, like the rest of you it’s a waste of time trying to contact them because all you get is automated responses about how busy they are – busy avoiding 1,000’s of customers they owe money to! And, yes, contacting ASIC is a waste of time because all you get is a generic response.
BUT THERE IS A SOLUTION. Just go straight to your credit card company and have them raise a disputed transaction. In my case, Amex immediately credited my account with the full purchase price and then went about dealing directly with these shysters. If you think about it, without credit card companies on their side, Skiddoo is dead-set finished – they can’t get any more money from unsuspecting buyers like all of us if they aren’t a merchant in good standing.

Fraud company report to ACCC

Still haven't received a refund since June and been over 15 weeks which they confirmed they refund the money however haven't very disappointed will report them ACCC I recommend everyone to report them.

This is a fraud since there is no refund yet they promised they are going down with a fight.

Sent an email they don't bother to respond any more bad karma is coming there way!

Skidoo were great until COVID came.
Perhaps they've gone broke, but if so why are they still advertising on an active website?
Like many other reviewers, I've been waiting for a promised refund of cancelled air tickets for an April flight. Like others I was told the refund would come after 8-10 weeks, ie in June. It's now September and emails aren't being answered. If it isn't going to happen, at least they should have the decency to contact us and tell us why not.

I cannot justify this high 1 star rating, but have no lower choice

Our business class flight from Sydney to Vancouver with China Airlines were cancelled. I have contacted Skiddoo who in the early stages stated, due to high cancellation numbers, it will take 8 weeks to process our refund. Well, 8 weeks came and went in April. We contacted China Airlines directly who replied promptly advising that yes, we are entitled to a refund, BUT, we have to go through the travel agent. Catch 22. It is now September, we can't call them, they are hiding behind a recorded message, saying too busy to talk to you, send an email. Well, that is simply a waste of time. The few answers we have had are full of apologies and saying we will refer it to the "Back Office" otherwise known as the "Delete" key. If you book with them, you are taking a huge risk with your money and your travel plans. Not worth the stress, I can assure you.

Rip off company, non-existent customer service

Email address bounces back - request for my flight refund is ignored. I have emailed them more than 30 times but now my emails can’t get to them. The airline advised they have refunded the money but skidoo say they can’t contact them. Liars and thieves. They should not be in business withholding people’s hard earned money. AVOID THEM!!!

Waiting months for refund

I requested on 18th April the refund of my tickets and I still didn't receive my money back till this date, I'll never more buy or recomend this company.

THIEVES!!

THIEVES!!! From March up until 3 weeks ago Skiddoo repeatedly told me my flights to Bali were not cancelled and that i wasnt eligible for a refund. Sure enough im not in Bali at the moment because of restrictions and Skiddoo now refuse to respond to my emails. These guys are criminals and I hope what theyre doing to everyone catches up with them.

Have been chasing Skiddoo for weeks…

Have been chasing Skiddoo for weeks regarding my refund. Initially advised 8-10week waiting period. On the 10 week anniversary I followed up regarding the delay to be informed that the period was altered to 8-15 weeks.
Since the 10 weeks I have received no contact from Skiddoo. This week marks 16 weeks since requesting my refund, no reply still from Skiddoo. I followed up the issue directly with Singapore Airlines (3/8/20). I received a very prompt email this morning (4/8/20) stating that the refund was made to Skiddoo on 8/7/20.
I have made a complaint direct with the ACCC, and will now be seeking refund via QCAT as per recommended on ACCC website. I recommend all waiting for your refund to undertake the same. They don't respond and they are currently withholding funds illegally.

In other words, skiddoo gets to keep my money. UTTER THIEVES WHO DESERVE ALL POTENTIAL CUSTOMERS TO READ REVIEWS BEFORE BOOKING AND BEWARE AS THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF AND GIVE YOU APPALLING CUSTOMER SERVICE TO BOOT

Generally I used to have a good deal with Skiddoo. But with Covid 19 happening we had to cancel our trip. Initially they said we would get our refund in 8 to 10 weeks, Then "due to high demand" it went out to 15 weeks. 15 weeks has been and gone. It was a stalling tactic. I will NEVER recommend Skiddoo to Anyone
