Great Customer service and compassion

It was a terrible experience that I had to cancel my flight due to unexpected death
In family,not expected at all. Anna was very compassionate and understand that I couldn't pay upgrade fee to cancel. She talked and then I talked to her supervisor, he was also compassionate and understood I didn't have funds. So they waived the fee and let me cancel. Never could I imagine this death happening but good to know kind compassion still exist. GOD Bless you Anna

It is not a good feeling to make a…

It is not a good feeling to make a negative comment. However I think this could help all parties.
I booked a airline ticket through Priceline, and eventually Skyhikes took my call when called United to upgraded my ticket. They got it upgraded with certain fees, that included one direct charge to Skyhikes and two individual charges to United airlines.
Within 2 hours of this ticket upgrade I canceled my ticket, when I saw so many charges in my credit card.
Now it is 3 weeks since this cancelation, I am struggling to recover a full refund.
Skyhikes representatives contradicts their statements when I call multiple times asking for refund status.
One says to wait 2 billing cycle to see the refund, one says it would be kept as a credit only to be adjusted if I use United at a later date. The lady who originally took care of the request of the upgrade, noted it would be a credit only, without a refund.
It is hard to make so many calls, wasting energy and time, arguing about a refund, which Skyhikes declined. Just to note that the two additional United charges were triggered by Skyhikes while upgrading the ticket, and one of these two is tefunded, the other is not. Also the charge from Priceline part of the booking was also refunded.
Skyhikes suggested me to reach out to United.
I didn't know beforehand a seat or ticket upgrade could be such a complicated exercise.
It feels bad how a big corporate office withholds money that need to be refunded back.
Please be aware.
