We are a small Family owned business operating in Southern California. We like to make things with our hands, and with the occasional tool. We have a knack for building things out of wood. We believe our surroundings play a big role in our mood, our emotions and our motivations. Like an echo from an empty room, or the energy draining effect a fluorescent bulb emits, there's a feedback loop in every space we inhabit and unfortunately we're the center of that energy exchange. Instead of tolerating our spaces, we #slattys set our sights on improving them by providing a simple and easy to install slatted wall panel made of natural and sustainable wood that not only improves the overall aesthetic of the space, but more importantly reduces echo and reverb. Beautiful Product, Great Customer Service
We got the ultralight panels in white oak. The product is beautiful and arrived so quickly. A few of the panels were damaged, but customer service was super easy to get ahold of, very easy to work with, and made the situation right within a couple of minutes. Even despite this, I'm super excited about the product and would highly recommend!

Issues Galore
The slats themselves arrived earlier than expected and the customer service advisor was good walking me through the install process. I am doing a basement wall involving cuts around 2 windows and a tile hearth. Right away, I had several issues cutting the first slat to size: the wood splintered at the cut (despite using a finish blade and tapiing the cut line) and the felt peeled away (despite assurances they were easy to work with), making the slats even tougher to cut. The fact that the panels are only 12.5" wide means lots more cutting...I am not looking forward to the more complex cuts. I regret my purchase

Adjoining slat panel spacing issue
The slats were ok except the felt between two panels is not sized properly. When you stack two of them side by side, the spacing between the adjoining slats on the two panels is a few mm more than that between the slats on the same panel. I had to cut the felt one one panel to fix the spacing.
