Check and double check
Whilst setting up the car insurance policy on the 18th September, I put the start date as the 1st October, without noticing it automatically went to the 18th October (a month later).!!
Having noticed this a few minutes after paying and seeing the policy, I tried to change the date to what I wanted in the first place, this was not allowed and the only way to change this was to cancel the policy, lose the £40 set up fee and apply for a new one (with most probably another set up fee!!!)............guess what, they then said they could not insure me!! The website needs looking at, as it is the only point of contact unless you are making a claim! ( as then only...you can call them!!). I WILL NOT use an online company like this again unless there is a contact telephone number to deal with issues like this simple error that has now cost me £40 for nothing!!
If I could give a negative rating, it would be right, not happy at all!!

It’s my first time using Slick as my insurance provider and I was surprised by the simplicity of using their website and how quickly I have set up my insurance. Every information needed was right there. I loved their transparency and accuracy with their terms and conditions. The process was done with ease and in no time I’ve had my insurance up and running. I’ve received all the communication needed right there on their website and also through my email. The best price on the market ( I’ve used a comparison website) was what made me choose Slick insurance and I was very satisfied by their process.

Was I scammed?
Yes, the user experience on the website is easy and straightforward to set up a policy, as many people have mentioned in the reviews. However, after I sent numerous messages regarding a query/request, no one came back to help me. I waited 6 days, so eventually I had no choice but to cancel the policy. On top of that, I was then charged £40 for administration costs. I really felt like I had been scammed!😭
