I wholeheartedly recommend sliding sash solutions. They are the most professional and curious team of contractors I have ever dealt with. The work is excellent, they are clean, reliable and polite. Because they are so good, you'll have to wait a little longer for availability, but I can assure you they are worth the wait. 10/10

This company was helpful in explaining their product and fitted round my diary to make the installation. The product met my needs and is of high quality. Although not cheap replacing a draughty ill fitting old sash window with a new products has given us a warm bedroom for our children and wills save on bills. They did not try to push me for other work or sell me things I did not need or could not afford. I would recommend them to anyone seeking replacements.

Really happy with the complete service from Sliding Sash Solutions. Sam was great advising on options to insulate my front door and recommend a new draught proof system around the door frame, as well as replacing the windows around the frame with double glazing that's in keeping with the style of the original 1930s door. Communication throughout was great, and the guy who did the install (sorry I forgot his name) was friendly, efficient, tidy and with great attention to detail. It's made a huge difference to heat retention in the house so I really can't recommend highly enough. Thank you!

Sam and his team at Sliding Sash Solutions carried out a major refurbishment and/or replacement of all our 30 plus windows in our listed Queen Anne house.
They were thoroughly professional and were able to work through a number of variations to the original brief which cropped up during the job with minimal fuss.
I would not hesitate to recommend them to others and believe they provided both good quality workmanship and represented great value.

I couldn’t recommend Dermot highly enough. He has done a top job and nothing was too much trouble. His craftsmanship is excellent and his attention to detail is clearly evident in his work. Some of our windows were rotten and Dermot quickly set about replacing the rotten elements with new timber. Our sliding windows now work perfectly and look fab, not to mention the reduced sound coming through the windows. Would definitely use again!

Sam and Kyle recently completed the refurbishment of all the sash windows in our Edwardian terrace in NW London.

The team finished all the windows to a very high standard and on schedule. The windows all now function with the new sash window systems installed (Accoya) and the paint finish is excellent.

During the experience the team kept the house informed of all the work required and how long each individual element would take.

Andy replaced all the windows in my 200 year-old Brighton house six years ago.

Since then - not one single problem (not even a minor one) and everything still works as well as the day the job was finished.

I cannot speak too highly of the service I received from Andy at Sliding Sash Solutions. He replaced 10 sashes in existing Edwardian bay windows with double glazed sashes. The attention to detail and the care he took were phenomenal, as was his work rate - everything completed in two days as promised, on time and on budget. The windows look fabulous and the difference in the warmth of the room is delightful. I thoroughly recommend this company.

This is the third time we’ve used this company and once again we’ve been delighted with the results. Ian and Andy were delayed in starting work due to poor weather conditions, but they worked mega hard to make sure the job was done before the next weather onslaught. Unfortunately we had a few hiccoughs at first but all was put right with no fuss at all. The two windows that were completely replaced look very good. Andy is very professional and delightful to deal with.

Andy at Sliding sash solutions was one of five companies that came to look at the work that was required on my Three bay and four box sash windows that had been painted shut six years earlier and were in a very poor state, draughty, rotten cills, and allowing water penetration.
Three of the other companies were of the opinion the windows were beyond redemption and needed to be ripped out and total replacement. The fourth left an entire floor of windows out of their quote.
When Andy squeezed me in to a very busy schedule to come have a look… he said “I’ve seen worse” and with some new replacement sashes, new cills and
a complete overhaul the original windows would be as good as new.
A three month wait for commencement of
work from booking the team was necessary such is the demand for their work.
Andy, Ian and Rob are obviously passionate about their craft, and it was amazing to see
the team work and the skills they deployed to salvage what others condemned.
Andy was also able to recommend a local decorating firm to provide the painted finish
to an exceptionally high standard.
I now have windows that are Draught free, fully operational and watertight and better than new, as they are a fully restored part of
history.
A few neighbours have already taken Andy’s
details, as the teams work is his best advertisement, but just as important Andy
Ian and Rob are also really nice and easy going people who enjoy what they do.

Sam fitted two new window frames into our Victorian property that look exactly the same as the old ones that were taken out.

The restoration of the original sashes was probably more challenging. These windows hadn’t been opened in over thirty years, but were extremely draughty in the winter. Sam was able to get these windows working as new, with the added benefit of being draught proof.

Sam was always on time, meticulously tidy and no bother to us at all. I would have no hesitation in recommending Sam for any future work.

We had our windows refurbished by Dermot from SSS.
The service that we received from the quotation to the completion of the works was nothing short of excellent.
The detailed quotation was completed and sent to us quickly after Dermot had completed a site inspection.
Shortly after Dermot telephoned to ask if we were happy with the quote and to book a date for the works to be completed.
We had 6 slide and sash windows to refurbish of which only 1 opened. Due to the age and poor state of our windows, I had doubts that all of the windows could be refurbished and work as they should, but I need not have worried. We now have 6 fully functional, easy opening windows that open from both the top and bottom. Dermot is a true professional, he turns up on time, works all day, cleans up after himself every day and fully informs you of the works he is completing.
Look no further for any works you need completing on your slide and sash window.
