The items arrived well packaged and in good time .
The actual products were not really to my taste and still affected my stomach even though they were gluten free and low fodmap.
I have already tried the Arrabiata and Tomato & Basil Sauce Cooking Sauces, they are both delicious. I have cooked with chicken and pasta and realised that the cooking sauce is so versatile. Yet more to try...
This website has a great selection of Low FODMAP friendly sauces and condiments. My boyfriend who is struggling with IBS loved the curry and BBQ sauces and the fajita stir in sauce was perfect. However, the bolognese, chilli con carne and tikka masala were a bit bland so I probably wouldn’t buy those again. My order arrived really quickly and carefully packaged. I would definitely recommend this website.
I am delighted with the product and service I have received from Slightly Different foods. I purchased a selection of products as a gift for Christmas and despite ordering relatively last-minute, the products arrived on Christmas Eve, which was perfect. The recipient is very happy with the variety I could choose and I am particularly pleased to have found relishes and salad dressings that are FODMAP friendly. Thank you very much. I recently bought the 10 pack of cooking sauces. This is a good selection of really tasty sauces. The Thai red curry is my favourite.
These sauces are great for creating easy and healthy low fodmap meals. Even my family are happy to cook for me.

i got diagnosed with IBS around a year ago and immdiately felt down about my food prospects being a massive foodie , i found this website ordered the six pick n mix , was not expecting much in terms of flavour tbh but these sauces have made me exited about food again . ive already made curry , hunters chicken sandwhiches , oatcakes with there tomato relish . i actually have a varied and exiting range of food now :) its always well packaged and always arrives fast .

I totally agree with you. When I was advised to change my diet I found it so difficult hence, why I started to create my own sauces & condiments.
It is great to see that others can also enjoy eating some of their favourite foods again.

After a shaky start with this company, they sent me two products of my choice free, to try. The Tomato and Basil sauce was very tasty and I would consider using again. I haven't tried the Raspberry and Mint dressing yet. I feel their customer service is very good and they obviously want to give a good experience.

I've had the pleasure of working with Slightly Different Foods for some time now, and it's been a delightful experience. Fantastic team of people to work with who are dedicated to their work. Fabulous products that are allergen safe and save so much time and anguish. Free from the 14 main allergens, gluten free and low FODMAP so if you are catering for special diets it's a dream. Really tasty, easy to use and safe, so you don't need to read labels or worry.

Many thanks for leaving a review for our Sweet & Sour Sauce.
When we develop our recipes we exclude all 14 major allergens to try and deliver a food product that many cannot tolerate due to certain ingredients, hence sometimes a slightly mild flavour.
We also try to keep the sugar content lower that variants and reduce spice levels as this can cause irritation to the gut.
We have recently introduced spice level images on our labels and those that do not have a chilli image tend to be more mild.
I am really pleased that you have left this review as it gives us an insight to what our customers really desire and what consumers can expect when buying this product.

We have found the company to be really lovely to deal with.
We also sampled their Chip Shop Curry Sauce (provided by the company for review purposes).
Our son has an egg allergy, which is often found in chip shop powder mixes. The Slightly Different Foods version of course has no allergens, and is made from good quality fresh ingredients.
The sauce was delicious, not too spicy, full of flavour, and with a great consistency.

Really pleased your son can now eat Chip Shop Curry Sauce.
It is quite surprising what ingredients go into some products. After having worked in a chain of Fish & Chip shops, I had the pleasure of sampling all of the food that I fried along with condiments.
After eating the curry sauce, (on several occasions) I always had a slight reaction to the ingredients. I was quite surprised when reading the ingredients panel and nutritional breakdown to find so many ingredients that were listed were major allergens.
This gave me the idea to create a Chip Shop Curry Sauce with no nasties and less sugar hence the slight differentiation in the flavour.

I've tried nearly every sauce from Slightly Different Foods, I have not been disappointed. If you are looking for a jar sauce that ticks the FODMAP box, is vegan, gluten-free and so handy for quick dinners then take your pick of the amazing flavours. They are like a homemade sauce in that they are a good for you compared to more well known brands that are full of nasties.
As well as the sauces the salad dressings are so good. My favourite is the orange, ginger and chilli, it will make any salad happy!
