Registering our Limited Company
My business partner have operated a small web services company for a number of years and wanted to progress our future by converting the company to have Limited status.
After reviewing many different companies offering this service we chose Smart Formations as offering what we required and at a very affordable price.
Everything we expected was delivered electronically efficiently and as promised.
We were also referred to open a Bank Business Account from a Bank chosen from the comprehensive list and now it is all open and operating.
We would highly recommend Smart-Formations.

Like all company formation agents, we use a software as a service (SAAS) provider to make our online company formation applications to Companies House. Companies House and the SAAS provider have agreed on the application forms, and that is how Companies House want the forms designed. The section of the form you refer to is part of that software, and we (like all formation agents) have no control over it.
Where the application form asks for a first name, you can also enter your middle names. We accept that the application form does not inform applicants of that possibility, and your point is well made.
We are pleased that your company formation was successful and that we were able to help you make the changes you required following the formation of the company.

Service was ok but the information on the website wasn't clear enough. Therefore, the registration took longer than it should have!
Whilst the information was present on the website but your system could have highlighted this fact when I logged in, rather than allowing me to continue with the application and payments without any issue. My "error" was highlighted by your colleague, who explained my "error" by cut-n-paste the info/ionstructions, which could be construed as patronisation.

You haven't explained what information was missing, but the support team says you had an issue with the price charged for second-time users.
The website says that the £9.99 fee is a one-time fee per user. This is not a fact that we hide, and we are at a loss as to how to make this more obvious. However, your comments are noted, and we will consider the issue.
