Do not buy from this company.

I bought an ear cleaner from this website in October 2021. It arrived in good time and worked perfectly. I wanted to buy new pieces for it recently but the product I bought in 2021 is discontinued, so I tried to buy a new one. After receiving the order confirmation and the money being taken from my account, the order was cancelled for no apparent reason and I was promised a refund. The refund never came and after weeks of back-and-forth with customer service, I eventually got my bank involved to chase the company. Once I got my money back (from my bank, not Smartbud), I placed another order. This has been unfulfilled for 3 weeks now and there is no sign of it being completed, so I've disputed the payment with my bank again.
After looking into the company a little bit, I can't find them registered with FCA or Companies House, and I haven't had any response from customer service by email or contacting them on social media channels. I believe they are (bulk) buying products from BeBird - the company that manufactures (and sells) the actual products, and the app for viewing the camera feed - and selling them for a marginal profit.
DO NOT buy from this company, but from BeBird instead.

Avoid like the plague!

Paid for order 1 September. Escalated via email numerous times & have been requesting a refund for months. Now my emails bounce back and my bank has been unable to process a charge back as the company is no longer trading! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

Poor customer service

Poor customer service. I ordered replacement tips back in August and was advised of a delay due to customs, but assured that my products would be dispatched ASAP. Smartbud have ignored my request for a refund and have now ignored all emails since December. This is such a shame, as the products are great....when delivered!

Gave 1 star as cant give 0. Bought a product on 1st sept 2025 to be told 3 weeks later it wasnt in stock. Still no product after another 2 weeks. Cancelled order. Still no refund in december. Cowboy outfit.

Smartbud Buyer Beware

Ordered replacement ear tip on 25 October 2025. It never arrived within stated delivery period, wrote numerous emails and requested refund. Responses appeared to be automated from "James" always saying it has been escalated and resolved soon. I have now had no choice but to request a chargeback from my payment provider. I would recommend anyone who is having similar problems with this company to do the same as I conclude they have no intention of fulfilling the deliver or refund regarding my purchase. Having read other reviews there is a pattern of behaviour from this company and I will certainly never be ordering from them again.

Smart bud scan

Smart bud took money for my account and charged me for 24hr shipping.
Two weeks later, and multiple escalations and I still haven’t received a refund or the product. It essentially feels like a scam.
Very disappointed in the customer service who just respond that it has been escalated, but with no resolutions. Ordered 23rd Oct, still no dispatch 17th Nov.

Very poor customer service. Avoid .

Have been waiting for an age for replacement tips. My emails are answered by a different "person" every time and has been "escalated" so many times it must be in outer space by now. At time of writing my replacement tips have not even been dispatched. Very poor service. If they actually get round to supplying my items they use Yodel for delivery which is never a good sign. Will be seeking my money back. To make matters worse, my anti virus software is telling me the smartbud website is malicious. AVOID THIS COMPANY!!!

smartbud replacement ea tips

placed an order 27th august for replacement ear tips, said 2-4 working day delivery with royal mail it is now 10th September and still no delivery, i have contacted the company through email twice using their email which is on their ordering site and they haven't even sent a reply. Very poor in fact no customer service.
