Apparently I agreed an initial payment of 80p to find my phone.
Since then, they have taken £370 from my credit card since July last year.
They tried to take another £129 from my account today.
Stay well clear and be very careful.
This is a scam! Cancel your 'subscription' immediately
My mistake was agreeing to make a small payment (less than EUR 0.95) to find my phone. This signs you up for an unwanted and useless subscription for EUR89.95 per month! Hard to cancel on credit card once "agreed". But do it immediately or this will continue every month. Is this fraud? It's certainly designed to catch people out and take their money. Deserves 0 / 5 .

Does not locate your phone, but only sends a message to the phone, which didn't help at all. We found the phone with Google, free of charge.

It’s a scam!! What isn’t clear when you sign up is that you are joining a monthly subscription for €89. And it doesn’t locate your phone. It sends a text message to the lost phone which is zero use!

Scam!!!!! Use it to try and find my friend’s phone and it never worked thought I’d give it a go as it only cost £1 then they have tried charging me £75 after 7 days my card declined it then they’ve tried charging me again two days later absolute scam. Stay well away.

Thought I would be charged 79p to help locate a missing phone. Phone wasn't located and the company then charged me an additional £75.05 which was stated as a recurring payment after a week. I was NOT aware of signing up to any subscription. Absolute SCAM! AVOID!!!!

This is a scam! They dont find your phone, just send a text. And then they auto deduct - Euro90 so far - by default. This is not transparent, you can't cancel , and their responses are just plain RUDE.
I have circulated widely , have nothing to do with them.

Like most people, I failed to read properly the terms and conditions and, once the initial payment had been made, smartphonelocation began taking regular monthly payments from my account. In all, they took £130 before I noticed.
They also failed to locate my wife's phone.

Avoidable unless u r desperate!!!
Read their agreement carefully before signing up.
They will charge CAD $1.40 to create a profile to help a person find their lost phone but it will turn into monthly subscription which is a hefty amount to find one lost phone.
So, After i created the said profile, i was kicked out of it within an hour. I couldnt login back again and tried resetting the password, i got a link on my email but when I accessed the link, it opened the homepage but ddint let me login nor did it open any reset passwrod page.
Now they have gone ahead and charged me a monthly subscription amount of $70.6 which I never authorised for. I sent them an email to refund the money and I got tye refund but with a rude reply implying that the terms and condition mentioned the monthly charge. None the less I got my money refunded. So thank you for that
The worst thing about the website is it doesnt even help u locate your lost phone. It is not that useful

This is crazy
Lesson here. Never right a negative review of Smart Phone Location and they bombard Trust Pilot with every means to try and remove your review. Once again they’ve gone through Trust Pilot to ask me to verify my phone number as they want to ensure it’s a genuine review - of course it is!
They even asked Trust Pilot with a screen shot of my purchase - which I did! All genuine I’m afraid Smart Phone Locarion.
Are you really this desperate??
It’s a monthly subscription service of £25pm after 7 days for the unwary. That’s all I want other reviewers to see. I’m entitled to that.
While I’m on it I have reservations about some of the other reviews on here. 5 star review? Really??

Don’t use this app, it doesn’t track lost phones it only sends a text to the lost phone, would only work if someone clicks a link in the text sent to the lost phone to send location. Which they wouldn’t be able to do if you had a password on the phone anyway.
I used this to try and find my friends lost phone, thought i would only be losing the 95p if it didn’t work. Glad I read reviews after registering as I realised it’s a subscription service that charges your account £25 every month. I’ve cancelled the subscription and also my bank card just incase.

Avoid,tried to locate a lost iPhone,paid the fee,was given a login but system just kept saying not recognised,then a week later attempted to take another £24.95 from my card,I'm sure somewhere buried in their t&c's they have hidden something about a subscription,but my only advice is,don't bother

Per fortuna avevo sentito parlare di smartphonelocation un po' di tempo fa ed è stato in grado di rintracciare il telefono di mio figlio in pochi minuti, così siamo tornati al campeggio e abbiamo raccolto il nostro telefono.
