I should have checked Trustpilot before making my purchase. Poor communication and outright lies. I was informed my LP was dispatched with tracking but it wasn't. It was sent second class as a large letter meaning I had to drive 20 miles and pay the Post Office to get this. I asked for compensation and received this reply: 'Post office postage system seems to have auto filled small parcel not a large parcel.'

Extremely poor service, paid 8th June as soon as the invoice was sent, quick enough to take your money but then no correspondence forthwith on delivery or tracking, a truly poor seller, an inactive email account and a phone that is never answered, stay away at all costs.

I wish I had checked this website before purchasing. So many shared experiences here on Trustpilot.
Snvinyl, a retailer that either doesn’t want the business or can’t cope with the business, yet ultimately shouldn’t be in business. Don’t have a website if you cannot keep purchases simple. Invoicing emails..weird…communication, terrible. Please avoid.

An extremely bizarre way of doing business… where do you start? The website looks great, appears to be constantly updated. I ordered a record and then …. Nothing… I got in contact via email explaining situation, told that I would be invoiced, nothing. Contacted again, received reply saying they had been invoiced 4 times in 10 days and order now cancelled. Weird. Something not right, I asked to be sent invoice in response to my email and received this message “xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx” ? Just bizarre!

Months have gone by since ordering two expensive records. Some communication, but now he's not replying to anything. I have paid 100 quid, he has that money, I don't have my records. Unbelievably hopeless.

Huge issue with communication.
No reply on establishing a prospective sale. I guess this registered business must be on a roller as to pick and choose new customers on spec. What a job. This business contact hales from a dealer in Netherland who most generously steered my direction to N. Scott as another dealer with current stock. On my next search located same item presently on offer. 🧐

I had a very disappointing experience with Snvinyl.co.uk.

I ordered a stylus based on the product page, but the listing was misleading—both the image and description made it unclear which variant I was actually purchasing. As a result, I ended up with the wrong type.

Importantly, the item was never used, never fitted, and remained in its original packaging. I immediately contacted the seller, acknowledged the confusion (partly mine, partly due to the unclear listing), and politely asked to return it at my own expense.

Despite this, the seller refused to accept a return under any circumstances, citing that they “can’t sell used styli”—even though this one was completely unused. After a while, the seller stopped responding to my emails.

This is not about the money—it’s about basic customer service and fair dealing. A reasonable seller would show some flexibility, especially when:

The listing is ambiguous
The item is unused and resellable
The customer offers to cover return shipping

Instead, the response was rigid and dismissive.

Overall, a frustrating experience. I would recommend caution when ordering, as you may be stuck with the item even if it’s unused and purchased based on unclear product information.

The record took a few days longer than I expected to be delivered but Scott did reply to my emails and sent me the tracking details. When The record arrived it was fantastically packed. Best packed record I've ever received. He even included corner protects on the record.

I bought with trepidation, after reading the majority of these reviews. After some prompting my two vinyl records were delivered within three weeks of ordering. The packaging was excellent and the records were mint.
Communication was ok but just needs a bit of fine tuning with the orders

Ordered and paid for a turntable cover in January on 2-3 week delivery. No delivery by mid-March, Some emails unanswered, other emails with excuses. Companies House information is not encouraging reading - see filings for SNVINYL (who I thought I'd placed my order with) and 3345RECORDS (the name on the invoice). I don't recommend this company.

Damaged vinyl received and I had to pay to return it.

Time waster.

1) Late delivery
2) No communication

Didn't answer phone. Emails bounce back as undeliverable.

Cancelled PayPal report as it turned up today. Contacting this guy is mission impossible. If he just tried communicating a little better he might get better reviews!

What a complete Joke of a supplier of music media.
I only gave this retailer a 1 as trust pilot would not allow you to give Zero !
Placed a large order, for items which said “In Stock”
48 hours later, nothing, fter a week, nothing, after a fortnight, nothing.. numerous emails and phone calls every day there after ALL we’re ignored, after 3 weeks I finally received an email with a pathetic excuse, this retailer obviously does not stock titles and must order them in when you place an order.
Finally received my order, a month after placing it, and I’m in the U.K! Arrived in one large flimsy box, new expensive Vinyl records packed with no bubble wrap, next to no protection, no this way up notice on the box, or fragile tape, what a DISGRACE to the Audiophile retailers who care about their customers and products.
Plenty of suppliers out there but I would advise staying well away from this one, read the reviews on trust pilot and take your hard earned money elsewhere.

Ordered a Jico N75EJ stylus and it arrived well packaged, and only a few days after purchase. Cannot fault SNVinyl. Good communications throughout from Scott. Thank you SN !

Having read reviews on here I was apprehensive but the price looked good and I chanced my luck. Excellent service, paid via debit card, record arrived two days later exceptionally packaged. Faultless to be fair so felt obliged to post here for balance.

I ordered two styluses for a record player I was given an order number but no payment method it says my order was received fortunately I still haven't paid but neither have I had any confirmation email or a reply to my query from them, I have now gone to another supplier .lack of communication is a big no for me

Just received my record cafe blue at a great price very well packaged and sent rapidly over the holiday period between Scotland and South London

These people provide poor information on their website then leave you with a useless product.

Thales TTT-Compact Turntable Acrylic Dust Cover ( 475 x 350 x 125 mm ). No other size quoted and no arm I know of that would fit under.

Ordered a cover for a manufacturers standard configuration turntable that does not fit, then the excuses blaming me for not ordering the next size up which there is no option on the page.
£150 in the bin.
I consider it theft.

Very friendly and helpful, I purchased a vintage table for my son and needed advice on the best stylus etc. They were more than accommodating and shipped quickly. I am looking at upgrading my system and will definitely go back here.

I ordered a stylus from the site and it arrived a few weeks later. Exactly what I wanted, no hassle, no need for me to chase up.

I felt compelled to leave a positive review because I see all the negative ones and although I am sure they are fair I have to say that my transaction was smooth and fuss-free so perhaps this reassures people (at least those buying something like a stylus, which is what I purchased).

I gave four stars not five because the delivery was on the scale of weeks rather than days, which is less common in these times (2020s), but overall a clean and easy transaction so thumbs up from me.
