This experience has been great and for us a new team in the it’s been a great league to start in for our first 6 aside season, Lewis runs the league and really good with it as he answers any enquiries and issues as soon as he can. Overall great league

Lewis the league manager make it very fun for me and my six aside team and always keeps in touch to make sure I have my team ready and reminding me of our games.

We’re currently in our 4th season with soccersixes(Calne Thursday League) and to be honest our first 3 seasons were good but the league was run really poorly and it was extremely frustrating. From a lack of communication, no balls, no bibs and no interest from the league manager it just wasn’t ideal. However we’ve since had a new league manager take over(Sean Uppal and it’s really changed the experience completely. Balls have been sorted immediately, the communication is top, anytime you have an issue or a question you can expect a quick and very helpful response by text or call. So a massive thank you to him because now he is our league manager the all round experience of being in a soccersixes league has gone from fun but frustrating to really quite enjoyable.

Do not join soccersixes it’s a trap that you can never get out of you will constantly get blackmailed with debt collectors and court dates if you want to leave , they say you need to give 14 days notice but you never know when the league ends they just automatically sign you up for the new season stay away at all costs , referees that don’t watch the games constantly playing the same teams joke of a company

Played in a Soccersixes league for 4 and a bit years. Enjoyed our time in the league. Games always went ahead on time and were fun. Leaving the league was a bit of a pain as we wanted to leave in January but we’re made to wait until April to leave. Otherwise, we thoroughly enjoyed the league and may come back one day

We had a decent experience with soccer sixes, the refs were to a good enough standard, always enough teams in the league to have lots of different games, the man running are league (Tom) was top always having good communication, allowing few days on payments, always giving updates an all round top bloke, I would definitely recommend these leagues

Seems alright so far.. reasonably competitive and appears well organised. Could do with a few extra teams but has been better than some 5/6asides in the area (south). Great pitch condition.

Been playing at Soccersixes Willenhall for for around 7-8 years it’s an amazing 6 aside league for Wolverhampton and Walsall community, very well run and still growing, it’s great as I’ve gone from playing in the open ages to now playing in the veterans league due to me losing that yard or two lol so it’s great for all ages, thanks Soccersixes keep up the good work

Absolute money grabbers! Kept us in the league when told them we wanted out as circumstances changed, they refreshed the league and kept us in! Threatend us with debt letters! I have proof of emails to soccersixes and no replies! Do not join these! Plenty of notice has been given but what they do is they speak over the phone so also, so they can can’t track anything! Horrible company! What a scam

Don’t trap yourself in paying hundreds of pounds in fees. Soccer sixes was average whilst we played in the league, poorly organised, played same team nearly every week, appalling refereeing who’s some how ‘qualified’, and the worst of all is the league coordinator. Rude and a keen blackmailer who thinks he runs the world by the sounds of it, thanks for that Jake.

The worst part, threatening to take us to court over 6 aside football, I know mental. If you want to try and persuade me in taking this review down Jake like you did with other people, you can, just ask Max to give you Joe’s number and I’ll happily have that conversation my mate. Not that anything will happen.

So yeah, would not recommend.

We contacted the league coordinator Jake (Widnes League) who is rude and only interested in money, regarding our exit from the league. We didn't want to play in the league anymore as the 'referee' doesn't even watch the game and is very unprofessional with terrible decision making and the league standards are rubbish, you play the same team about 3 times a month as the format is shocking.

Long story short, we notified them of our exit and they said we have to keep on paying our £35 a week until they find a replacement team or until the end of the season (there is 7 weeks to go) so we are having to pay hundreds of pounds when we are not even playing. The league coordinator then said that he isn't bothered if they get a replacement any time soon because the company is still getting their money which I find a nasty way to go about it, instead of helping us to get a replacement and save us money he is letting us pay this money and doesn't seem to be actively looking for a replacement. We refused to pay as this is not fair and he then threatened to take us to court which a week later we received a court letter with a court date which is disgusting. All this for a 6 a side league, they need to get a grip.

The company as a whole are very unprofessional and constantly send emails, phone calls and text messages which is annoying. They're only interested in money and when you are not wanting to play and want to leave the league or can't play a fixture because you haven't got enough players etc, they still charge you and then they double the fee if you don't give 48 hours notice. They turn very nasty and threatening. They don't have any human consideration for people and their circumstances, they're just money grabbing scammers.

I complained to Jake about our last 3 games we had which was also the trigger point of us leaving and he blamed me for not telling him earlier.. This is ridiculous and any complaint should be listened to and dealt with professionally, no matter when I choose to bring it up, I knew this would be the treatment I would get if I did bring it up. He said that my complaint about the ref and the league would not be acted upon or taken forward as he didn't want to 'upset the apple cart' because if we are leaving then there is no point. I found this ridiculous because how is the league going to get any better or sort the issues if the League Coordinator isn't interested in improving or acting upon complaints.

I DO NOT recommend joining a Soccer Sixes league. My personal encounter with Jake is a very negative one, he is unprofessional, you can't talk with reason to him and he turns it on you, making it your fault instead of taking ownership for his rubbish standards of refereeing and league format. Once you sign the agreement to join then they have you and you cannot escape the league unless they have grabbed all your money first!

Little update, just had a phone call from the company asking if I could take my honest review off the website ha. If so we could sort something out to not have to pay our remaining money they’re squeezing out of us. He then said he would put a response on my review saying that we are lying and never turned up for games and constantly dropped out of games which is not true… we turned up to every fixture so lying to try and make yourself look good is not going to work. Disgusting tactics trying to silence their customers as usual. He called it a ‘slag off’ match and if that is the kind of thing you have to do to make your company look good and fake, you’re clutching at straws but at least they read the reviews as proven.

Games were a shambles, leagues were a shambles. Half the time we didn't know who was playing who and then you'd end up with 3 vs 5 etc - organisation was awful.

Waste of time so understandably the team quit.

I've been getting threatening messages from Lewis about how they're sending the bailiffs around my house if I don't pay for all the games.

Wow, i wish i had read the reviews before joining.

This company is money hungry and have no regard for real life situations at all. All they care about is you pay the fees and if you dont? Well time for a ridiculous fine.

However my story with soccer sixes is different. I told Lewis (league manager) that our team did not have 6 players and we needed to leave. He told us we had to see out the season (or until he finds a replacement) and he will help us with players- not once did he do this. Also, our league had only 3 teams for half the season meaning we played the same teams twice a month!! For refrence the league size is 6 teams!

2 weeks ago we showed up and only one team had shown up. At this point another team had joined the league. The team that showed up told the ref they dont want to pkay us as we dont have a full team anf are unwilling to lend us a few players. Then the game was called off and we went home- but i was still told i had to pay 36 pounds! Oh and if i didnt get it paid by 5pm the next day i wpuld have a 10 pound late fee.

So today we just didnt show up as there is no point anymore. Got a message saying that because we didnt show up we are gonna have to owe 300 pounds to S6. And if we didnt we pay we would get bailiffs.

So, i went and asked reddit what to do and it seems Mr Lewis had lied to me when i joined- i said i was not 18 but the TOS wanted me to be 18- is this okay? He said yeah. Well turns out the agreement i signed was void the whole time due to this and he had been baselessly threatening me, making me believe i was under contract when i wasnt. (edit, this is proof enough that this organisation is money hungry). So i told him, in summary, to F off, and i seem to have managed peace for now. Will update this if anything changes however i let S6 know about the situation and am awaiting a response.

So yeah. Only join if you have like 9/10 players you can rotate if any canr attend for whatever reason because they dont care and make you feel like you owe them when they cant really do anything against you. Even if you are 18 and agreeing to the contract. Also if Lewis is your manager (i believe he manages north west teams, ie blackpool, preston, blackburn and that) leave ASAP because you do one thing wrong then you have to deal with this manchild moaning at you for days on end.

Another note on Lewis, at the game i described earlier where only one other team showed up, Lewis told the ref that there was 6 teams showing up. When ref called him to have a go at him, Lewis sheepishly ignored him and Ref was made to travel from preston to blackpool on a cold February tuesday evening. Seen a lot about poor refs on this company but this guy is genuinely good- FA qualified genuine he showed me his license and all and just a sound guy. So big up him i guess. But still 1 star because he is not affiliated with S6 and is independent.

We’ve been part of the league for over 3 years. Throughout this period of time we’ve never been let down for a game and always had a referee in place. The league is well structured and regularly updated (online) after all fixtures have been played.

A good pitch to play on in all conditions and fairly priced.

It’s been a great pleasure being part of the league. However, we’ve decided to take a break and will return again for sure.

Enjoyed playing weekly competitive games. Given fixtures well in advance to sort a team out. Reasonably priced. League manager helps with any queries.

Shocking experience with SoccerSixes, I would advise you to steer clear if you are thinking of signing up.

We wanted to leave as we were repeatedly playing the same team 3 out of 5 weeks, when we were in an 8 team league. After we had requested to leave the league we were told that they would be sending bailiffs to collect their ‘debt’ of £756, even though the total cost of all the remaining games was £462. We tried to contact them to discuss this matter and were either ignored repeatedly through emails and messages or confronted with an argumentative and aggressive member of the soccersixes team.

Avoid at all costs. It has costed us £462 to leave a league. Absolutely shocking.

I am absolutely appalled by the lack of professionalism displayed by the men at Soccersixes. They have treated my good friends like their own little piggy bank. They have been harassing our former captain through texts and phone calls with no consideration for his work life/ social life, they have even tried bullying him to get this money. I genuinely don't know what's going on with you guys over there, but it needs to be sorted out.

Out of genuine interest, I have been scrolling through these reviews, and let me just say... it's not a good look, boys!

This company have been harassing the team I played for about money charges every week when we gave them plenty of notice about us leaving the league. Threatening legal action without a leg to stand on and bullying customers who played in the league for weeks.

If you’re looking to play fun, organised football this definitely isn’t the company for you. Horrible customer service and a league ran by scammers!

Their tactics are disgusting—harassing emails and threats, trying to bully people into paying for something they’ve got no right to. This company is nothing but a bunch of money-grabbing scammers who couldn’t care less about their customers.

Avoid them like the plague. They’re unprofessional, greedy, and a complete waste of time. Find someone else to organise your football, because these clowns aren’t worth the hassle!
