I would choose Sofology over any other furniture retailer when buying a sofa or chair. One of the main reasons is their approach to customer service. As soon as you walk through the door, they simply greet you and let you browse at your own pace. They don't hassle you, pressure you, or immediately try to make a sale, which is something I really appreciate.
I can't stand being constantly approached and questioned while I'm trying to look around. At Sofology, the staff are relaxed and approachable. They're there when you need them, but they give you the space to make your own decisions. They pay attention without being intrusive, and if they can see you're interested in something, they'll come over and offer help or advice.
The staff were incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and informative. They helped us make what was actually quite a difficult decision between a couple of sofas we really liked. Given that a sofa is a significant investment, the information they provided was extremely valuable and helped us feel confident in our choice.
They were also excellent during the ordering process, taking the time to understand our delivery requirements and keeping us fully informed throughout. Since placing the order, I've received regular updates by email, which has been reassuring and professional.
I genuinely cannot fault them. The service has been outstanding from start to finish, and I would highly recommend them to anyone. Sofology would always be my first choice over any other furniture retailer.

When we entered the store we were greeted but not hassled, we were offered a drink and molly checked in with us a couple of times but wasn’t intrusive, she was available to answer questions and helped us through the whole process, we really appreciated the time spent with us to make sure we were making the right choices, great experience from beginning to end

Paid over £3,000 for a leather sofa that looks badly worn after just 3 years. The leather is patchy, faded and has lost its finish. Sofology declined support as it’s out of warranty and referred me to a paid third-party repair. Very disappointing for the price.

I understand that the 2-year warranty has expired. However, my concern is not simply about warranty coverage, but about the quality and durability of the materials used.
A leather sofa costing over £3,000 should reasonably be expected to maintain its appearance for longer than just three years under normal use. The issue here is not accidental damage or misuse, but what appears to be premature deterioration of the leather finish, which has become heavily worn, patchy and faded.
This raises questions about whether the material is of a standard that matches the price point.
While I appreciate your position regarding the warranty, I believe it is fair to expect a product of this value to have a longer lifespan in terms of appearance and finish.
I would have hoped for a more supportive approach given the circumstances.

They lost our sofa. Delivery was booked for 10/4/26. They called us on 9/4/26 to say part of the sofa was missing. Full payment was made on 8/4/26 in anticipation of the delivery. We called on 10/4/26 and the customer service was very blunt. So we went physically to the store in Reading on 11/4/26. We still did not hear anything about our sofa. This is deeply disappointing and we are concerned that our money has been taken with no product being delivered. We are considering taking legal action for this activity.
